Straight novelty garbage
I realize this was going to be on the rickety side , but I expected it to at least work. Maybe not A fancy double stitching, zig zag, button hole, write my name in calligraphy thread Or even go back wards . I did however, expect it to at least sew a single line. I hope you don't. I suppose it can be considered a "learning tool" in the sense that you can spend 5-6 hours repeatedly threading, adjusting tension, pulling knotted thread out of bobber area and many other troubles of sewing you may feel you need practice dealing with or learning. I'm not a stupid person. The machine is threaded correctly. It just cannot sew longer than a couple inches and it just quirks out. Besides thread breaking, tension issues causing loopy loose stitches, some how it actually rethreaded itself with the end of the long start I had. This will baffle me for ever. If sewing isn't your true objective. Unfortunately, mine was I was making my granddaughter a very simple pillowcase. This won't be for you. I could not complete it. I figure 3 days 4-6 hours every day trying to make the machine work, and it would, for 2-3 inches worth of sewing. Then, you get another 35 mins restringing the junk. So if you need a hard lesson with no reward on threading a machine then this is for you. The directions are clear. Except about the tension and Im sure that's where the issues lie. Personally, I'm going to enjoy putting this junk in to some sort of launching equipment and watch it smash to a million pieces. I suggest you spend 10 extra bucks and get something else. I'd ask for refund but I feel my 19 dollars would be better spent destroying the thing preventing someone else the aggravation and me relief from a seamstress rage. It did come with a selection of cheap thread. No hope there, I tried different thread as well.. Seriously, just buy something else.

Wonderful 1st sewing machine for a child
Bought this for our 9yr old granddaughter for Christmas. This is the perfect machine to buy for a child that has an interest in learning to sew. It's user friendly and gives them the opportunity to learn the basics before buying them a more expensive machine. Our granddaughter made everyone pillows and was SO excited. It worked great with no issues.

Small but works
This is definitely a beginner sewing machine. It's small, smaller than I originally thought but it does work for what I needed. It's kind of loud and the instructions for it aren't the best but there were YouTube videos by other users that walk you through it. Don't bother with the 'on/off' button unless you truly can't use the foot pedal, it's not useful. The thread cutter attached isnt great, the tiny scissors that come with aren't much better and the seam ripper didn't work for me. But as a cheap option for a smaller project, it worked.

Simple and works great!
Nice little machine for the price. Mine was delivered today and I already took in a dress. I didn't know I had that skill. Beginner here. It only has one stitch but that's all I need. Perfect for beginners imo or for anyone who wants to do a little sewing while traveling. It's very small and light weight.

Supervise with kids!
When I turned the machine on to test it out it was set on fast and it’s a good thing my finger wasn’t by the needle. There’s very little control when it’s on. Even on slow it moves quickly. The little piece of fabric that came with it pretty much flew off the edge and the thread got tangled. If you have kids that are going to use it, be sure to test it out first and make sure it’s on slow speed before turning it on. There’s not much control like with a regular machine. Also have a long enough piece of fabric so you have enough time to maneuver if it’s too fast. There’s no reverse so if the fabric travels too fast and the stitching goes off the edge it’s going to be tough to turn the fabric to backtrack and you may end up with tangles. I bought this for crafts only. Without reverse it’s a little to maneuver, but for small items like sachets it’s adequate. Haven’t changed thread on it yet. The thread is cheap quality but adequate for small projects.

Works well and is too cute
I loved that is easy to use! It does what is expected, with a single stitch and is very quick to put together with its tiny table. I ordered it from Colombia and it came in a short notice. The kit with threads is nice, the colored threads will be for sure super useful to me, since this is my first time sewing. I think perhaps it could be nicer if there were multiple needle sizes of the machine, since my grandma (who is teaching me to sew) told me, but I love it as is! 10/10

I’m happy with this little sewing machine! 🧵✨
I’m happy with this little sewing machine! 🧵✨ It’s perfect for small repairs and simple projects. Very easy to use, even for beginners, and the dual speed is a nice touch. I also love how compact it is — super easy to store and put away when not in use. Great for quick fixes at home or even for travel. 🧶🪡💼

Hard NO
The foot pedal doesn’t reach the ground rendering it unusable. It does not accommodate a spool of thread (even though they sent many of them) It requires 2 bobbins instead. You must then spool the bobbin from the thread. Time waster. Loud. Low quality. Do not purchase.

So far, so good.
Good for what is meant. Just one type of sewing is available, but it is a good start for kids.
