In Between Homes

Deep spiritual Poetry
Jala and Agni, they say, neutralize each other. But what happens when you add Akash, Bhumi, and Vayu to the equation ? A poet happens, poems happen, and then, emotions happen. This is an amazing book of spiritual poetry, and takes us repeatedly to many aspects of the One Supreme Truth. Again, and again, the Author seeks to take us to the Deep inner recess of our own minds, the missing address as she hints, of the Life giving spark. She makes the journey relatable and delightful, and the punch lines do leave an impact in many of the poems, and stay with you for quite some time. A deep and satisfying read. Shivram

Life and emotions connect with 5 elements of nature
In between homes is my first poem in English apart from my learnings during my education. The author divided the book into 5 elements of nature/Universe.Each chapter is connected with our lives and emotions. Beautifully written book. The first poem talks about a mother's intentions during pregnancy and the mother's grief. The book ends with death and the state of the soul after death. Each chapter is based on different emotions/happenings during our life span. The love, heartbreak, joy of kite running during our childhood time, spending our night time alone with the moon by sharing out thoughts/sorrows, and so on.The author learned the meaning of faith when she held her hand with a butterfly."At first I didn't feel him at all-Then I felt nothing but him".She also points out that whatever life we are leading with our materialistic things will not bring happiness. Happiness lies in nature, creatures, trees birds, and so on. Every beauty is nothing but love. Are we the victors? Do we achieve anything by eradicating nature and mankind?"We bring down our hammersto make ourselvesgoldcoffins"The Hunter's duty talks about mothers' love for their children."Sometimes I imagine myselfas the universe itself". I experienced this during my meditation. The last chapter about death is written so meaningfully. How many times do we defeat death? We wanted to live. But finally, death still stands by the door to take along with him.Soul after death - In between Homes."Though my body may retireWhen you think I am goneFind me in a baby's yawnWhen you think that I am deadFind me in a sunset red..."Life is everywhere. We need to find and cherish.I completely adore her work.I completely get connected with the poems. I don't regret accepting this book. Great work of Meenakshi Shivram.Highly recommended. Everyone can get connected with this book.

Nature love
In between homes is the collection of poems about different feelings we get in life moments. And this is my 1st poem book, i haven't tried poem books yet. But I loved it so much the author used simple language so its easy to understand. The author poured the feelings in each poem as we read it we can easily catch that feel too. Missing address was my favourite, my heartthrobed when i read that. That one matched with my current vibe..I explained whatever i felt ."A place to restAnd a place to sleepA place to laugh. andA plave to weep."I've fallen in love with poems now...I also loved THE HUNTER'S DAY , WITH YOU topics tooo. I personally liked those stanza about moon. Its all about feelings and nature. It will make you to think and feel the vibe. Nice one must give a try❤

Interesting
The book has really attractive cover that made me pick it up. It’s a short read that can be read in few hours. Hence I will keep my reviews short to avoid spoilers. It’s a collection of poetries, verses and conversations. It’s divided into five parts. Jala, Agni, Vayu, Bhumi and Aakash. The poetries are divided into these sections according to their nature. It’s a collection of conversations with the universe. Author covered topics such as curse, the something missing, the joys of childhood, loss and despair, tenderness of first love, pain and heartbreak, survival, etc. I loved the writing style of the author. It’s unique. Like when you read poem once, you have that urge to read again and each time you sense a sense of more depth to the lines. I liked the language and vocabulary chosen by the author. I liked the way author presented each and every line. It’s too beautiful. Most of the I liked the way author divided poetries into sections. Overall good one. I enjoyed reading it. Here I would like to mention few of my favourite lines so it will give you idea about the book and writing style.“With glassy eyes, I telescope intomyselfand as the world slowlystirs awake,I go to sleep.”

Poetry book for the soul
I started reading this book at the best time of the year 🌧 rains and poems i guess go hand in hand? I dont know i felt so soothing when i had a cup of coffee in my hand and in another i used to have this book and go about reading a poem here and there! The book is a compilation of several short and long poems! They revolve around universe, hearts, minds, emotions, clouds, wind etc! While reading the poems i felt like the air, the clouds were telling their stories to me! ⛅️I loved reading through the poems and there were a few that left me thinking deeply about life and the different contents in it 🦄———————————-Fav poem 🌻Essence of Devotion ⭐️This I say with certaintyFor this much I know is true:All my life I knew nothing,Till the moment that I knew you—————————————
