It works for me.
First off the shipping time was efficiently quick. Second I am a return customer as my dad gave me one of these knives over 10 years ago, as a sign of surrendering the hope that I would ever get manually sharping knives on a stone right. LOL! The cover was alot bulkier and took up a whole tray in my silverware divider. But it worked well. WARNING you do have to pull it in and out a few times everytime you use it to keep it sharp. Small price to pay. And it feels good not to be spending money on knives only to throw them simply because they get dull.. This new one has a slim cover and fits better in the silverware drawer. Its sharp and is so far staying sharp. High Hopes!

Very sharp
Works great! But make sure you look carefully at how to replace the knife in the holder. It will go back in the wrong way and then is very difficult to get out. Would be better if they would make it impossible to replace upside down

Sharp, excellent "prep" knife
Very happy with this medium sized knife. Modestly priced, delivered on time and in good condition. Good looking, very sharp and comes with a sharpener / case so it is safe in the drawer. Used it yesterday to prep food for a stir fry dinner at church. Performed well and was comfortable to use. Would buy again.

Self-sharpening knife - what's not too like?
I bought this item because my parents had a similar knife (same brand) back in the 1970s, which had the same feature.A gift for my brother from the same era, who has shown interest in that same 1970s knife that my parents still have.It's nice that I could buy an item from someone in the UK. Trying to buy this item from someone in NZ or AU is very challenging.The item is exactly as described in the listing. Bookmarking seller for future sales.
