The item was purchased for use in a camping minivan. One of the Portable Battery Units is located on a shelving unit in a quite active area and was extremely concerned that the cable or cable connector or connector on battery would be accidentally damaged (by me or my cat) if sticking straight out thus all constant connections to battery unit are right or left 90 angles. Cables for the 12v 5521 connectors, 12v power port ("lighter" type), 5v USB ports and even the 110v AC port were purchased or fabricated. Thus far very pleased with the results and all items purchased :)

My robotics team was adding another camera to the vision processing computer on our robot. Due to space limitations we needed a USB A connector with a right angle. This did the trick and provided a stable connection. That was all we needed

Installed a Sony AXV1000 in my 2006 GMC Sierra. USB is front facing and I am not a fan of cords hanging and showing. the sharp 90 degree angle angles perfect under the dash bezel and wired behind into a plug for apple car play. Researched all over and have had no issues for two months now.

You can extend a fast charging cable and it won't slow down the charging. Very good cable.

Using it to extend a USB port on a PC buried in an A/V rack. The angled plug is great.

Anything connected through this extension using USB 3.0 will just constantly disconnect and reconnect. It's useless for anything that requires high speed data transfer, might be okay for USB 2.0 or charging only.

I used this USB extension to move a wireless headphone USB dongle away from some other electronics that were creating some interference. The right angle on the USB-A male end is perfect for extending a port without taking up a lot of real estate. The other end is a USB-A female socket, so you can just plug your device (or cable) directly into it. I could also see this being useful for extending a USB port on a computer that has it in a hard-to-reach place like an iMac.

Short and sweet review: great little USB-A extension cable. It's particularly suited to our use-case where we wanted the cable to make a 90-degree turn coming out of a wall charger so the cable faces "up", making it easy to plug in to a secondary cable with USB-C and micro-USB tips on it. Recommended if it fits your use case.

I'm using this wire to extend my camera's power wire so I can move it to a different corner. So far it's working well and there hasn't been any power issues. It's keeping my camera powered on and working well.

We plugged it in our car as an extension and after 2 car rides plugging in 2 times it no longer works need I say more
