i give it a 3 as the headphone input dose not work when you put your headphone in... any kind headphone did not work on this Roku Voice Remote Pro...

Very nice. Only thing is one of 4 shortcut buttons (Paramount+) doesn't work. Other than that one small issue, it's pretty good.Main feature is it's USB rechargeable without need to replace costly batteries. Used it for over a month and only recharged once to ensure it recharges without any problems.Tried out the other features which aren't available on my previous remote and all work well.

Bought the cheaper version. And buttons messed up .this one is great so far! And has find my remote and auto voice command

I'm hard of hearing, so I bought this so I could better understand the sound on the TV using the earphone feature. Works great for that, and I'm able to move about the house with the remote in my pocket and earphones plugged into the remote. The battery charge lasts very much depending on how much you use the earphones. In my case the charge is down to 50 to 60 percent at the end of the day. I simply plug in both the remote and my phone to my bedside charger when I go to bed. Full charge on both in the morning. First thing on waking up I turn on the TV and put on the earphones to find out what madness has occurred in the news overnight, all from a warm bed. The voice control works OK, but I seldom use it. Not my generation, I guess.One thing I noticed that was disconcerting at first. Turn off the TV with the remote and the sound through the earphones continues after the TV is powered down.. My assumption is the sound originates from the Roku streaming stick and not the TV. Note that I'm powering the Roku stick from the wall adapter, not from the TV's USB. If I powered it from the TV's USB this likely wouldn't be the case., since the stick's power would disappear when the TV powered downAltogether I'm happy with the remote. It does what I wanted it to do. I don't have a problem with the earphone volume as some others have averred, even though I'm hard of hearing and have to have the volume turned up higher than most; I imagine this has a lot to do with the impedance and sensitivity of the earphones. The rechargeable feature is fine for me; I use a brightly colored silicon cover and due to the extra power consumption with the earphones I'd be removing the cover almost daily to change batteries. If I should run out of battery power I have the old removable battery remote as a standby while charging the earphone remote. Both are enabled and either can be used. Of course I also have the phone APP as a third alternative.Incidentally, We have the Roku streaming stick, the Amazon stick and the Google in our household. I like the Roku far and away the best for its features and especially the user interface.

I'll preface this by saying that one of the biggest reason for buying this is that the remote that came with my TCL Roku TV has plastic buttons for the ones I use the most - The direction and centre button, but soft touch buttons for the four hot keys for the apps like Netflix.I really wanted to have soft touch. And this remote delivers in the department! Way more comfortable in my opinion and feels much nicer because of this.I didn't particularly think I would like the voice controls as much as I do. I have Google home accessories and can mostly control the TV from those. But, the find my remote and other functions in my opinion are very handy to have indeed. Also, the headphone jack is a nice added benefit. I like the programmable shortcut buttons, but do not like how you set them up. I wish you could just long press the app you want. It appears you have to use this in conjunction with a voice command. Just awkward, but once it's set up you don't really have to think about it again.One minor complaint is the Micro USB. Why not USB C? I have a coffee scale that cost about as much as this remote, and it has USB C. Does that thing need it? Definitely not. But, it's a nice consideration. I feel the same about the remote. I have plent of Micro USB cords around - So it isn't a bad thing. Would be nice to see C as they seem more durable and are the norm nowadays.
