What good is a stylish stainless steel garbage can if you have to wrap the bag around the liner lip and is seen when lid is closed like in step 3 in description? If you wish to have the bag not seen the lip does not hold the several drawstring Glad bags well that we tried at all on ours, pain in the B to get the bag to hold without the bag being seen and still the bag slips. If the inner lip had a P lip it wold hold a bag and it would be hidden like the main page picture shows, no bag seen. Or just have the black trim piece on the top edge and have the inner plastic liner separate and lift out independently.Are we the only ones who do not want the bag seen? I should have paid closer attention to the description/ pictures. Or find black garbage bags? Otherwise for us this would be a 5 star can.The clever lifting mechanism allows for the lid to stay open or closed. We leave it open unless we have guests. That is a huge selling point for us.The foot pedal is tall/off the ground higher than most and takes a firm step to activate, not a problem for most adults.The finish looks great but only time will tell of it's lasting quality. The material is thin but needs to be on the lid for a lighter easier lift. We were looking for a model with just an inner lid for zero back clearance that raised and not an entire cap/cover that has to have more clearance from wall, but the size and shape of the can fit perfect for our needs.I would also have liked for the product description to have that the bottom is open and not solid. Easier for spiders and bugs to get in if you have bug problems like many climates/areas do.Shipping packaging was impeccable on my unit, double boxed and extra thick boxes.Trying to decide if I want to return or modify. Dremel the corners to make a slot for the bag string to hold or keep using an XL rubber band for the bag to hold onto. I also have commercial door bumpers I could cut down/drill a hole and put on the corners that would hold well also. Or 3M 1/4" trim tape or weather stripping on the rim/corners.......

Took a dive and spent money on these trash cans. They are super nice and they are built solid! Movement is smooth and I got what I paid for. Very nice!If you think the $50 Walmart step-on trash cans are nice, this set is way above it in quality.Get one if you are looking for a solid trash can.Oh, note that I got the black one and the finish is great.

I really like the design of this trash can. It looks great, but what I like the most is the delicate close and the snug fit of the trash bags. Swapping out bags has never been easier and I never have to listen to that annoying alluminum clang ever again!

When my parents redid their kitchen about a year and a half ago, they continued to use their old dingy trash can. I decided to get them one that would look nicer. I got the black color for something different to stand out against their gray cabinets. I love the soft close feature so we don't have to worry about it slamming on the kids' fingers or the dog's nose lol.

This product dents extremely easily.

Trash can was the right size and looks like it’s high quality. However, the larger can came with a couple of dents even though the box was undamaged.
