Does exactly what it's supposed to do
Spins easily for effective banding and spray glazing. Excellent weight to the bottom so it's stable. Just an excellent banding wheel.

Perfect size and height
This size is nice and heavy. Keeps my clay up high enough for me to complete detail work when seated at the work bench. As you age the perfect height to work is always appreciated.

Nice but less spin than expected
This would be great for sculpting or painting pottery or models. It's nice and heavy. The bottom has a rubber pad that keeps it stable and the height is good. It didn't work for my purpose--I wanted a wheel that would spin at least a few times around so I could smoothly brush glaze on pottery. Strangely, this wheel barely spins. By hand, yes, you can move it. But with a big heave and nothing on top, the wheel goes around only about one and a half times, at most. From the description, I'd imagined more spinning.
