This stuff works. Make sure you don't get in on plants that you want to keep, but saturate the weeds all the way down the leaves. Do it on a sunny day and 3 hours later the plants are already turning brown. After first use, don't let the bottle turn over. One opened, the top leaks.

Revised Review - while deadweed brew did not work for my intended purpose and does not kill any grass that I have; It does kill weeds (clover pig ears etc) and it works VERY quickly. so I thought it only fair to change my rating and review . I bought this because I did not want to use toxic chemicals and it was recommended by someone at a very reputable nursery. Sometimes natural products take longer to work. I sprayed this liberally on the unwanted item . It has been 4 weeks (past my return window). Nothing - DID NOT WORK AT ALL - there were a few spots on a couple of leaves in a 3 square foot area and that is all. complete waste of money.

Y’all. This stuff works wonders. I grow my veggies and berries organically and have traditionally used vinegar to try to kill weeds amongst my crops, but that doesn’t kill all of the weeds. This does (at least those in my garden in zone 7b/Hanover County, VA)! I sprayed all around my crops, not on them, and the weeds sprayed all died, and my desired plants stayed alive. Do it on a sunny day and you’re golden. It’s rather expensive so I won’t be using it around non-food plants.

The quart size works great, this stuff is either an actual fake product/scam or something is wrong with their production. This does almost nothing, no matter how much or how many times you spray. The quart size killed everything fully on the first spray when I used it. Garbage. I'll just switch back to old reliable glyphosate.

I live in Arizona and have a small yard with lots of gravel. FIRST USE - This spray WORKED GREAT THE FIRST TIME on mostly 6 inch tall mallow weeds, and grass that had invaded my side yard gravel. It killed the dreaded stinknet, too. One 32oz spray bottle did the side yard and half the front gravel and 3 weeks later everything I sprayed is still dead. SECOND USE - I bought a second bottle to do the rest of the front gravel. This time I noticed there are nozzle settings for narrow or wide spray and the wide spray setting does not concentrate enough product on the weed. USE THE NARROW SPRAY SETTING unless you want to waste tons of product. And then the SPRAYER STOPPED WORKING halfway through my second bottle and I had to pour the remaining product into a spare spray bottle, which did not have a narrow enough spray range so I was wasting product again. The second bottle would have done the rest of my yard, I think, if I didn't run into issues, but it's a small yard. I have very mixed feelings now because of the quality of the spray bottle and whether the price is worth it for a yard any bigger than mine.

Sprayed on weeds growing in our pavement cracks on a sunny day and they were dead in a couple of hours. Love!

I own a landscape company and wanted to try an organic product to kill weeds growing in an established lawn. I tested this product on several different weeds throughout my lawn on a warm sunny NC morning. The ready mix gallon jug came with a sprayer and was easy to use. Killed weeds dead in less than six hours! Only problem is the grass under/around weed looks dead also. Web site claims this product will not kill grass. Hoping roots of lawn are still strong enough to grow back. Not sure how far a $20 jug will go. Will report back in six weeks. Only reason for 4 stars

I highly recommend this product. I have used it the past couple of years and it is very effective. Plus, there is no guilt of applying harsh chemicals. It works quickly and targets all kinds of stubborn weeds, like thistle. Sometimes you have to repeat spraying to make sure you get down to the root. I love the option of having the battery operated sprayer to avoid hand fatigue from manually spraying.
