My Little hated all swaddles but this!
Amazing transition swaddle! My only complaint is I wish it had a double zipper. My little didn’t like being restricted until he was asleep so we had tried a bunch of different swaddles and he liked NONE (we were just swaddling with a blanket since birth) so I was worried about this one. But he started to show signs of rolling and I knew a sleep sack would be necessary soon but he slept so much better and longer with his arms restricted but this swaddle did keep him from waking himself up with his startle reflex while getting used to his arms being more free. We’ve thrown in some sleep sacks and the transition was smooth! Thank goodness (we also did get the okay to have him sleep on his tummy from our ped so I think that helped him stay asleep / sleep longer as well). 10/10 also he looks like a lil starfish in it it’s so cute

Game changer!
My 3 month old started to roll and yet wasn’t quite ready for a sleeveless sleep sack. I needed something that was an in between swaddle and sleep sack and this is PERFECT! She’s been sleeping so well in it and the material is okay. It’s a little steep in price but kinda worth it since my baby is sleeping well and still feels swaddled even though she has the ability to move her arms if needed.

Absolutely love
My baby did not really like to be swaddled. He would get out of it within a few minutes every time. I found him one of these at a second hand store when he was about 3 months and I have been obsessed since. This is the second time I’ve bought a new one to size up, he’s now 10 months. The other one fits still I just wanted a back up for washing. Overall I love the softness and thinness to the material. My baby has a helmet now and this can make him hot so I have to be careful. But the material used for this blanket is perfect. They always seem huge at first but it doesn’t bother my child. He’s able to move around in it easily. He sometimes where’s it while he crawls around before bed. My only complaint is that you need two lol, one to have while the other one is washing. The price and quality are worth it for me as well, my child uses this item multiple times a day and the size lasts about 3 months. This is a must have product for me, especially if you have a baby who doesn’t care about being swaddled

Works for us, no startle, great quality material
We wanted something that allowed more movement for baby for a margin of safety in case baby starts to roll back to front, but baby still has an active startle reflex and abandoning those tight fitting swaddles was an intimidating idea for loss of family sleep. This is it, baby can move arms, but does not startle. We tested without swaddle and other solutions and this is the only thing that I saw that allowed movement and prevented wake up after a startle. I was nervous buying this because of reviews of bad material quality, but manufacturing must have been improved because this is the second one I bought and both survived washes on delicate cycle without any damage and there is no pealing of pattens. I was worried about the neck hole being too small, but at least for our baby, who is average weight and above average height, there is no issue with comfort or airway restriction. The material, including around the neck, is plenty stretchy even if you don’t place baby perfectly in the swaddle, by our baby has not yet managed to work hands and arms through the neck hole when awake. I’m a very happy customer. This is well worth the money to me.

Transition sleep sack
This is the best transition sleep sack I have tried. He sleeps the best in this one but he still wakes up with it because he can move his arms, but out of all that we tried he is the most comfortable in this one. He sleeps like a little starfish. The material is very soft and has plenty of room in this sleep sack. It is 12-18lbs and he is 14lbs. This sleep sack has been great so far.

Great lightweight swaddle transition product
We have used the Love to Dream ‘swaddle up’ series since my son was born as he loved to have his arms up. He most recently was in the final stage one where the arms unzipper to be out. When he started rolling front to back a few weeks ago we let him have one arm free and he did great with that. But I knew it was only a matter of time until he rolled back to front so eventually we tried a nap with both arms free. It was a no go. He was flailing his arms like crazy and grabbing the pacifier out of his mouth etc. Just not ready for it. So I ordered this to have just in case after that and it happened to come in the mail the day before he started rolling back to front!!! We tried it on him for a nap just hours after he first had rolled back to front, and he did beautifully. Bonus that he can’t scratch my face or pull my hair for that early morning nursing session. And his arms don’t get frigid so I find I’m worrying about his temp less when he’s in short sleeves in the warmer months! We might only use this for a couple of months until he’s able to replace his own pacifier and we want him to have his hands free to be able to do that but until that transition happens this will be a total sanity and sleep saver! Will be buying a backup too.To those that say the zipper bulges by the mouth, in my experience it sort of does but not enough to cover the whole mouth or face or be of concern for safety. And my son is in the smallest for weight and height range for the size I got him (so there’s a bit of extra room). He’s also not a big mover when he sleeps so it doesn’t bunch up too much. Our daughter would rotate all over the place so this product would not have worked for her (not to mention she was a thumb sucker).I have not washed this yet so can’t speak to the fabric quality or it getting pilly over time but will try to line dry when I can. I can’t imagine the quality will go to trash if we only use it for 2, 4 or 6 months or who knows how long. But I do wish it were softer/more stretchy like the Love to Dream swaddles. They do make a cotton version but I think it’s like $5 more on Amazon (this one is mainly polyester blend).
