Kind of a bummer for me...
I've been 3D printing for a while now, I get my first layers pretty much perfect on all of my printers. I bought a Sovol SV05 and the stock PEI platform was warped pretty bad (plus the magnetic sheet wasn't that strong) so I picked this up.First, the measurements on the platform are off. The X axis' lines are pretty accurate, but Y axis is off by 10mm (aka there's an extra 10mm of space below the "1" line). Not sure what the idea behind that was or if the machine that printed the measurement marks was off.Second, and more importantly, my prints just won't adhere completely to the platform. I've done PID tuning for the bed, measured the temperature with two different thermometers (one contact, one contactless) to verify the bed's temperature isn't an issue. I've cleaned the platform via recommended methods (91% IPA and twice with slightly diluted acetone once the IPA didn't improve adhesion). The platform is fairly level (a total variance of 0.102mm on a 7x7 probe setup). Unfortunately there's not too much else I can do to improve adhesion except use "helper's" such as a gluestick or purpose-made adhesive (have not done yet, don't want to gunk the platform up anymore unless I absolutely have to).I don't want to give the platform less than three stars, I've read the other reviews, and most are positive, also I do like the design of the platform (the little designated fingerprint tabs, the measurements even though they are off centered) but I am a little disappointed and can't give any more than three stars. I think that's fair for my experience.

I like it
It just works. Once I leveled the bed didn't have any adhesion issue. Modern removal is also excellent.Worths upgrade.

Good Flex Plate
I got this flex plate for use with an Artillery Genius 3D printer which has a bed size of 230mm by 230mm. I suggest to measure/check your bed size before purchasing to see if it will cover what you have.I primarily print PLA, PETG, and a little TPU. This plate is compatible with all three, so I gave it a shot.PROS1. Creates a nice texture on the bottom of prints.2. Holds prints nicely.3. Pretty easy to get completed prints to release sonce it is a flex plate. No release agents were necessary. One note is that if printing with PETG or TPU it would be a good idea to remove the print while the sheet is still warm. I found this makes it easier to remove smalls pieces of supports or skirts that tend to get left behind on the plate.4. This is cheaper than a lot of the similar products that are available.CONSThere really is no documentation from Sovol that I found that is available on applying the magnetic sheet to the existing bed or any other product usage recommendations. The good news is that there are similar products that you can search for installation videos if need be. I am familiar with using similar products, finding my own answers, and experimenting, so, all in all this is not a big deal.Other notes:The black surface is some kind of polycarbonate and has a sort of gritty, sandy texture. According to a rep, the whole setup is limited to 110c in temperature on the heated bed. I don't print anything that requires anything close to these temps so no problem. The black surface comes pre applied to the flex sheet. The magnetic sheet has adhesive that gets applied to whatever bed you are currently using.

I love this build surface
As you can see, my original E3P magnetic build surface had seen better days. I wanted to get a flexible spring steel surface because I didn't want to spend all day playing with hairspray and tape to get prints to stick.Let me get to the meat of this review and rate a couple of areas from 1-10 (10=Highest).Shipping: 10Prime shipping. What's to complain about...Shipping Packing: 6No damage, but the product was delivered by Amazon in a bubble envelope and the surface and magnetic sheet was sandwiched between cardboard.Product Packaging: 7No damage but see above.Adhesion: 10Holy cow parts stick to this thing. Fortunately, with most parts of any decent size, all it takes is a slight bend and twist of the spring steel, and the parts pop right off. For smaller parts or skirts Ive had to use a razor knife and pick the printed sections off. Doing so doesn't seem to damage the surface.Printing Impressions: 10I've been printing PLA but I just started printing PETG and have not had any problems with that either.Ender 3ProEZABLE3 Mini V2 boardStock Extruder and hotend.2 Layer Height20% Infill70mm/s print speedLike I said, I love this build surface. Unless you just HAVE to have the slick glass surface, forget glass beds. This thing is so much easier to use.

Perfect adhesion
It’s so good to the point sometimes my prints stick TOO well. That’s not a bad thing but it can be frustrating when doing leveling tests (~1 layer thick)The coating is super hard and won’t come off if you use the scraper, but I’m still gentle if I ever have to pry something off. The steel bends a little bit to help take prints off once cooled.I attached a picture, left is the original Ender 3 magnetic sheet, right is this product. Note the difference in texture. I also had a PEI sheet before this (changed out because I messed it up while troubleshooting my extruder, and left the 200C nozzle too close) - that sheet’s prints felt and looked smooth, while retaining details. This one is coarser than the stock Ender, while retaining details. The only thing I haven’t figured out is why my black PLA looks a little grey on the bottom. So far between the stock Ender sheet, PEI, and this, I like this the most. I feel like I could print something 12” tall and not worry about adhesion. PEI was a little iffy at times and I definitely had to use isopropyl alcohol to clean it occasionally - I haven’t tried glass but I hear the clips and hair spray/glue can get annoying.
