Nerf Rival Nemesis MXVII-10K Blaster, Blue (Amazon Exclusive)

Get your geek on as this is the end all of all Nerf guns, it is truly awesome. Bought two, for myself and son to relive some childhood moments. Along with the rechargable NiCad power packs and extra ammo, the gun is insane. The gun cycles 100 balls in 40 seconds with accuracy, speed, and power for a good 80-100 feet. With a simple Lipo battery mod, you can have this gun cycling 100 rounds in 13 seconds with even greater speed and power. Check out the Head Shot replacement ammo on Amazon as they are less expensive and gives you more rounds for your money over the Nerf brand. And you will want more ammo. Our indoor battles have been hilarious, 200 balls flying all over the house in under a minute. Epic Battles. Wife however, is a bit less amused lol.

This thing is an absolute behemoth of a blaster, even without the batteries or rounds, it weighs a LOT, adding the D batteries adds a lot more weight, so I absolutely recommend buying the Rival Rechargeable Battery Pack along with your Nemesis to decrease it's weight during firing a lot. I also recommend buying a shoulder sling or strap for this beast if you plan to carry it around! It's an impressively designed blaster for sure, worth the hefty entry fee!

This was a gift for my son for Christmas and with it I picked up brand new Energizer batteries. Once he opened it, we put the batteries in and the trigger to spin the motor worked fine. As soon as either one of us held the trigger to shoot the balls, the blaster bogged down and acted like it was running out of juice. The first ball went okay and then the rest were barely falling out of the end of the barrel. After some reading online (Reddit) it was discovered that any battery besides the Nerf rechargeable battery pack or Duracell batteries were not providing the power the toy needed for whatever reason. The video was taken the same day just swapping the batteries out.

I've had the gun for around a month now, and its holding up. I frequently have nerf wars in my work office, and the nemesis does great! Accuracy is really great until around 25 ish feet and then the balls start spreading out. I love the easy load of the hopper, makes it really convenient to reload half way through a battle. As one of my coworkers also has the same gun (but red) I definitely recommend getting a rechargeable battery. I personally got the official nerf one and it keeps the motors really high powered. Much better than just putting in single use batteries.

My daughter loves this gun! It was her favorite Christmas present. She's 7 so she struggles to cock a lot of the other spring loaded nerf rival guns. This one requires no such strength. Just press the button to spool up the firing mechanism and pull the trigger. It's able to shoot in short bursts or full automatic rapid fire mode. My daughter said the only thing she doesn't like about the gun is that since it shoots so fast she runs out of balls before the rest of us do. Haha we're shooting with various 10-15 ball rival guns. She doesn't seem to mind it but the gun is quite heavy, but as you can see not THAT heavy as my 7 year old wields it like a mini terminator. It's a bit pricy but as with anything I buy for my daughter it's worth it to see her joy and happiness. Battery life: Battery life seems pretty short. It takes 4 D cells! No wonder it's heavy right? I will probably by the rechargeable pack that nerf makes for this gun. When I do I'll put up a review of that as well. I hope someone finds this review helpful. My ratings: Fun factor: 5/5 but really off the charts Accuracy: 3/5 Ball velocity: 3/5 Ease of handling: 2/5 Ease of reloading: 5/5 (open sliding drawer and dump balls in that's it) Overall i definitely recommend this gun.

We are a Nerf Family. Everyone gets a gun. But whoever is behind the trigger of this baby is smiling, and everyone else is running for cover. YouTube'd Nerf nerders for hours before picking this one. It does not disappoint. Awesome range, accuracy, and rate of fire. Even when throwing fire control to the wind, it does not empty the hopper "too quickly". Downsides: It is neither small nor light weight. At 28" long and weighing in around 4 lbs fully loaded, it definitely fills the Nerf "heavy gunner" role. Difficult for anyone smaller than a strong 10 yr old to run-and-gun with it, but they could absolutely hold down a fort. For teenagers and older, it would be difficult to find a better foam thrower. One thing you must get right every time: The hopper slide door, where you load the ammo, must be FULLY LATCHED CLOSED before the gun will work. There is an interlock switch. Also of note, as an ammunition type, the Rival rounds go EVERYWHERE. As opposed to shaft darts that hit-and-drop, or do a mild tumble, the Rival rounds are easily capable of travelling 20 - 30 ft, hitting a flat surface and ricocheting back past your ear. Indoors, expect to find them in overhead lighting, under kitchen stoves, and anywhere else you would never want to go looking for ammo. That said, they are soft and squishy and arguably hurt less than the shaft darts.

I was worried this would be too much for my 10 year old... It's not! Does it hurt a little, yes. But it's nothing my son and his friends haven't been able to handle. I had him shoot me first, so I know it doesn't hurt that bad. Of course he loves this gun and has a ton of fun with it. It is a pain to pick up all the balls, but that's expected and not much you can do about it. I would absolutely recommend buying the rechargable battery for it. It's worth spending a little extra one time rather than buying huge batteries over and over! Great product!

I can't believe how much fun this gun is! Being able to load the balls by just dumping them in makes this 1000 times better than traditional Nerf guns with the constant reloading. The feeling of absolute power as the screams start just from hearing the motor turn on. Do yourself a favor and buy the rechargeable battery pack as well.

Excelente pistola muy divertida, la capacidad de tiro es muy buena y con la batería recargable tiene potencia extra. Muy recomendable.

It’s kind of heavy. With ours, the removable (6 x D) battery holder inside sometimes gets moved around a bit and you think the batteries are dead. But shake the gun a bit and it starts working again. Not a big deal. Keep in mind, there are two triggers. The lower one needs to be pressed in order to turn it on which makes a somewhat a loud engine startup noise. Then while holding the lower trigger, you can then press the upper trigger to shoot the balls. It’s so much fun! I think we’re getting one for each member of our family and have a good ‘ol family shoot out.
