These are much easier to use with restricted access and/or one-handed than the simple ones where the strap is jammed by serrations in the reaction face of the handle, and thus flops about and slips until it has a working load on it. The use of a pivoted cam to jam the strap on these wrenches makes them much more effective, and also should be better than the ones with a side trigger: although as easy to position initially as these ones, they probably aren't as effective at jamming up as you put load on.Both items seem well-manufactured: the cam pivot is an obvious potential weak point but if well designed the load in it should be self limiting; I've given 5 stars for sturdiness for now but if this is a problem I'll let you know...I wish they were sold singly: the small one is particularly useful (I bought 2 sets in order to get 2 of these) so given that these are expensive compared to the opposition its a bit of a waste of money having to buy big and small together if you don't really need the big one. It looks like the same design is starting to become available cheaper under different branding, so we'll see if they also get unbundled.

I bought these to help with a tap and to remove a broken lens from my camera. It was hard to get the rubber around the lens on the camera, as they’re rather wide, but it did the trick in the end with a lot of effort. However, for the tap job they were just too big and wide, and the handle got in the way. I wanted to remove the nut on my tap (I needed to remove the nut to change the washer and stop it leaking). It didn’t work. In short, they are fantastic for bigger jobs, such as removing jar lids, but useless for anything small. This is because is too hard and fiddly to set the strap when dealing with smaller items, the rubber is too wide, and whole wrench too unwieldy. The rubber is also smooth and not ribbed, so does not grip if wet. However, for larger jobs and kitchen needs, it does the trick nicely and grips well when dry. A good addition to any toolbox.

Had been after a strap wrench for some time; only problem was that I didn't know the term 'strap wrench' and so had difficulty finding one (my issue). I've only used it once so far (plumbing), but it appears to work well and so cannot speak to sturdiness (which is why only three stars for that), however it feels very sturdy. Will (try to) update if issues arise.

Does what it says and particularly useful to have the two different sizes - one for my workshop and one for her kitchen.

Takes a wee bit of setting up and getting used to but they are pretty good once thats out of the way. The small one is tiny, don’t know if I’ll find a use for it.

Mine was sent back , the river belt snapped on a second oil filter , good design but not strong enough for my use .

The media could not be loaded.  Over the course of the last two weeks, I have made substantial use of this tool, and its adaptability has certainly stuck out to me. Considering that the shape of the rubber strap makes it possible to get a firm hold on a broad variety of things, it is the instrument of choice for doing activities that would otherwise be difficult. This set has been my go-to answer for a wide variety of activities, from easily releasing tight oil filters in my vehicle to tackling hard jar lids in the kitchen. It provides me with the ability to do all of these things. It is my opinion that the user-friendly design of this strap wrench set is what sets it apart from others. It is simple to accommodate a wide range of sizes thanks to the adjustable straps, which also provide a secure fit for a variety of types of items. When used for a long period of time, the ergonomic handle guarantees a pleasant grip, which in turn reduces hand fatigue. This set is an excellent addition to the toolbox of any do-it-yourself enthusiast because of its versatility and the simplicity with which it can be used to do a variety of jobs.

Die Handhabung ist super einfach und der Schlüssel liegt angenehm in der Hand. Wenn man sehr viel Kraft aufwenden muss, muss man die Schließe zusätzlich mit einem Finger drücken, da sonst das Gummiband nicht genügend Reibung aufbringt und sich öffnet. Ich es trotzdem geschafft, dass ich auf ein paar Zentimetern etwas Gummi vom band abgerubbelt habe. Trotzdem sehr stabil und empfehlenswert.
