Digestive Advantage Lactose Defense Formula, 32 Capsules (Pack of 3)

These work so well! It's absolutely amazing to me that before I would get a huge stomach ache throughout the day by just drinking one tall glass of milk, but that now I can drink up to a half gallon of milk without any side effects.I am a super skinny, tall guy and am trying to bulk up, and the most efficient way to do that is by drinking huge amounts of milk a day. Unfortunately, I am lactose intolerant, so I thought I'd give these a shot, and I am glad I did. Now I'm sure to add that extra mass that I want by drinking all the milk I can get.

I started having lactose problems several years ago. When I started taking something for it, I found I would forget until too late sometimes, sometimes I didn't even realize that what I was ingesting had any dairy in it, and I had to take it several times a day. Plus, I'd sometimes take it and have problems anyway. Needless to say, after about a year of it I was ready to drop as mush dairy as I could because it was just too much to take.One day I heard an ad for this product on the radio. I'm usually leery of radio ads because most of the time the products don't work. But this one was available in a couple of drug stores locally instead of mailing off to someone or calling a toll-free number like most of the scammers. I bought some and followed initial directions (2 a day for, I think, a week, then one a day thereafter).The results were nearly immediate! I've never worried again about problems resulting from lactose since I started using it, and I do love my ice cream! There have been maybe a couple of times in the last several years when I had to take a second one in a given day (I can always tell if I'm going to have problems about 3 days out, and I can prevent it from happening with the additional dose). Other than that, it's been one pill per day for years. Which beats the heck out of one (or two, or three) every time you eat or drink anything that may cause problems.

Works Great and actually prevents lactose intolerance!!!

The product I ordered was Schiff Digestive Advantage. Take one tablet a day. 60 tablets. The product I received was 60 tablets. Take two tablets each day. The cost of the substitute product was the same as the original the first product lasted 60 days. The substitute lasted 30 days. In reality it was twice as expensive.

I docked 1 star because the vendor tends to ship these with only a scant 3 to 6 months left before expiration. Which defeated my purpose of keeping a surplus on hand as part of my home disaster preparedness supplies. At brick-n-mortar store you get a 18 months to 2 years before they'll expire. That said, I am lactose intolerant and Digestive Advantage Lactose Intolerance formula really works. Unlike other well known lactose intolerance pills out there I only need one Digestive Advantage a day. Which means one box lasts me one month. No more worrying if that taco or burrito liberally top with cheese is "pill worthy". Veggies drenched in Ranch Dressing are back on the menu. Ice Cream come to mamma! No more gastrointestinal pyrotechnics from the back-end. After a year I even got to the point where I can miss a day without biological reprisal. If you or someone you love is lactose intolerant you must get your hands on these.

My gastro doctor gave me a sample box years ago; haven't had a problem since. Still avoid dairy but lactose can sneak into lots of products that you wouldn't think has it. When on antibiotics, take two/day 12 hours apart. Amazing results.
