Great little adapter.
I have 2 of these and they are well made and work nicely to replace battery packs that the tiny LED Xmas light strings use. We were going through batteries so I decided enough was enough and wired these in place of the battery packs. They come with every size of typical DC connector I could imagine. There is one (included) for stripped wire. The switch to select the voltage seems well made.

How to select an AC to DC power adapter
As a customer you need to know the input AC voltage you will be working with (usually 110-120 v), the DC output voltage you need for the product you want to power in lieu of using batteries, and the DC amperage needed by the product you intend to power with the adapter. I had that information and this product has worked flawlessly in place of using batteries as a power source.
