Very Loud and effective, no one would want to be in the same room as these when they go off!!!!
These are neat and compact, buttons on them are clearly visible and effective, the grip surface on the base works well and the metal plate on top is smooth and polished adding to the apperance, but getting back to the effectiveness of this, it works and works well, if an intruder opens the door onto the door stop it screams out loud the intruder will not want to be there for any time after that.I tried it and it works well as a door stopper, but the sound if not turned off truly hurts, the quick slide of the button at the back of the door stop to the right is the only way to get relief and works great.

Definitely no one sneaking in with this little gadget.

It did not work.
I was so excited to use this item for protection. I put it under my front door and the door opened right over it without it making a sound. I then put it on a carpet and the door still swung right over it. I put it under the front door and propped an object behind it so it wouldn't move and it finally sounded the alarm. Unfortunately I could not turn it off unless I took the battery out. It was now permanently blaring if I put the battery back in. Just like that it was broken.
