Serves it's purpose After 20 years of driving junky older trailers in my youth, I now have a newish nice stock trailer with working lights that I use to haul steers and horses with from time to time. It's fantastic looking and practical. When I need it, I need it. And I want it in good working order. In the past I had issues with people wanting to borrow my trailer or (rarely) wanting to use it without asking first. This has prevented the recurrence of such shenanigans. It's an affordable and simple little hitch lock. I'm sure a bonafide thief could cut through it if they were really motivated, but that's what good dogs and cameras are for. This keeps my trailer from getting borrowed without my knowledge and is going to slow a thief down or deter them entirely. What more can you ask for? Buy it it's 15 bucks Lol

I think anybody that owns a trailer should have it it keeps your trailer safe from somebody trying to steal it and this is the second one I've had and I would buy it again and I recommend it for people that have trailers that don't have it protected it's a great protection product

It functions decently, but it definitely feels a little bit like a struggle to get it on or off. The key takes a lot of jiggling and I feel like I have to jiggle and wrestle with it to get it to release. Not a huge deal, but I prefer not to stand around wondering if I have the right key.

Item arrived quickly and was as described. Comes with two keys and works simply and elegantly. Worked perfectly to secure our horse trailer at a week long horse show in Virginia last week while we detached and used our truck to get around during the week. Theft of trailers is not an uncommon thing and would cause a lot of problems if after a show one were to find their trailer gone and no way to get your horse and tack home.

Barely works for 2 5/16 trailer tongue. Have to flip the lock over so it's facing reverse. Would probably be easy to knock it off the trailer as the top loop is barely catching on the edge. At least gives the illusion of being secured at first glance. Looks like it will work fine for any smaller size couplers.

Looks like a trailer lock, feels like a trailer lock, locks like a trailer lock. Guess what? It is a trailer lock.
