This is my second gaming pc system purchase from Skytech Gaming. I have been quite satisfied with my other system which was purchased a little over 2 years ago, and with the prices currently of GPU's and chips. I chose to go with Skytech this round as an option for a pre-build. I wanted a rig to replace a almost 10 yr old Dell XPS system which was clearly in need of retirement. Which would be primarily for home and multimedia work. And for the price of what GPU's and chips are currently going for individually, this is a good deal. Furthermore I also did not want to deal with all the mess of proprietary stuff from the hardware, software and bloatware companies like Dell, HP, etc do with their systems. The pros; - The price, I mean really. The price of the Nvidia 3050 alone is close to half the price of the system (as of writing this review) - I have not yet tried gaming on it, so far it has been as mentioned before for multimedia purposes. So Adobe programs such as photoshop, video editing have been working quite well with no lag issues. - Easy setup. (I am in no way a computer whiz to where I can build my own systems. But fairly competent to work on them and problem solve issues when they arise) Should be no issue for someone who has little experience, as long as you read the setup guide. - If you are thinking about it. It is Windows 11 capable. (I decided to go back to Windows 10 which it came pre-installed with originally and I won't go into why I disliked Windows 11. You can do your own research there) - Quiet, not heard any noisy fans that would scare the weak of heart Negatives - one star for the following reasons; - Coming with 8 gig of ram when most systems are coming with 16gb as standard. (Of course can be fixed with a minor upgrade RAM purchase) - I appreciate the CPU fan is a Coolermaster brand that was installed. What I don't like that I cannot change or turn off the RGB light on it, since it is plugged in directly into the motherboard. Versus being able to change the RGB lighting for the rest of the system. - XMP was not set on in the BIOs to take full use of the 3200Mhz speed of the ram (default was 2666) so bit of a miss on quality control check there. As for Skytechs tech support. I have not needed a reason to contact them. So I cannot speak on that behalf. But it is good to have that option available if needed.

It's works perfectly fine for me. (I did upgrade the ram right out of the box. I jumped from the 8gbs to 32gbs before I ever even turned it on) Runs pretty much everything on high to ultra for most games and usually sits around 60 to 100 fps easily. Mostly got it so I can play tarkov and it runs it surprisingly well (on medium to low settings) it a averages 80 to 120 fps on most maps. Would highly recommend for a low budget gaming rig.

Its a decent cpu if you dont plan on using it for the latest titles and on ultra/high settings.

Honest review of this PC. Do not buy! The reason for this is the pricing. Now the pc itself runs great and does what it needs to do. I have been having this PC for around 3 years, and I just upgraded my specs and wanted to game at 1440p. I will say the cables are managed well, there are no issues with the pc, and it served its purpose well at the time, but I was a pc noob and thought this was a good deal when I bought it; I just wanted a gaming pc. But for $1000, the performance is not worth it. Other supporting reasons are that the motherboard is outdated, so is the cheap SSD they use, and there is one strip with 8 GB of RAM. It has the Rtx 3050 with 6 GB of VRAM, which is not even the 8 GB version. Donโt get me wrong, it can run games well at 1080p and reaches incredible fps on competitive games on low settings, and on some triple-A title games, you can play with medium to high settings with stable 60+ fps. Still, you might need to enable DLSS frame generation if the game supports it. The last game I ran was Silent Hill 2 Remake, and despite its limiting 6 GB of Vram, I still enjoyed the game. (I upgraded the RAM to 16 GB because you practically need to do that). Nevertheless, the PC is not bad; it is just badly priced. Itโs built well and can do the expected things, but the pricing on this is terrible; you are getting scammed. For this exact build, you can get it for $600-750 max. And I am talking about prebuilt, not building one yourself, to avoid the hassle. You are overpaying by a couple hundred dollars. I fell victim to this scam. Donโt be like me; research and consult with a friend or family (one who knows about it). If not, there are plenty of videos that go over them. You can find the best GPU and CPU combos, builds, performance prices, etc. Enough of my yapping. All I am trying to say is that there are way better options for the price they offer.
