 This light has a very good battery life and its nice to not have to worry about searching the house for the right watch battery like other laser pointers. The laser has several novelty-like options such as a happy face, thumbs up, butterfly, and spaceship. I imagine these would help keep your cat interested.I used this product as a laser aiming sight for my blow-dart gun as well as a nerf handgun. This worked perfectly for both and also added a cool tactical flashlight option for both. It is very easy to use and easy to charge.The flashlight is quite bright for only one LED, but has a hard cut off around the edges. This doesn't affect its use in a negative way for me but is a little different than most flashlights.

Exactly what I was looking for. I bought this for a friend with ALS, who needs it for selecting words and letters on a wall communication chart. Things that make it appropriate for this: 1) You don't have to hold down a button. Instead, it switches on and stays on. (Switch it forward and it is a small flashlight, switch it backwards and it is a laser beam. 2) It has a clip, so you could easily clip it onto a hand brace or perhaps a child's headband wrapped around the hand a few times, or maybe a baseball cap. 3) The descriptions says that the battery lasts over an hour, but I turned it on and let it sit for two hours on laser, and it didn't even dim. Another great thing is you don't need a replacement battery, you just plug it into your computer's usb port, and it recharges (cord included). You will see a blue light when you plug it in, to let you know that it is charging.My only caveat is that I have not had this a long time, so I cannot speak to longevity. I can tell you that it seems very sturdy and doesn't have a cheap feel to it.

For the price it's pretty good. The switch button has three positions: 1) flashlight and 2) red beam (not a laser but a bright LED). It appears some other purchasers have and issue with this switch, but it works for me, I've had mine for eight months and it still works and charges. My cat is not very interested in it but it makes a nice pointer, It's not high quality but the price is reasonable,

Love this laser light and so does my cat! An extra bonus that I didn't realize when I bough this is when you keep changing the light designs, there's one that is just a flash light. I dim the lights when I play with my cat with the laser, so occasionally I'm walking up or down the stairs and the flash light feature really comes in handy!

My cats all love this! And I love that it's rechargable. Only complaint is the dial to change the Lazer type is very touchy and it's hard to keep it just on the normal Lazer option. Could do without the other options honestly. The flash light is awesome!

As someone with two older cats, this is a great product. As soon I turned it out, both of my cats were interested and chasing it. It's cool that it doubles as a flash light as well and I like that you can change the laser pointer to project other shapes etc. Would recommend for anyone that has pets especially cats.

Bought one in December 2017, Jan 25th 2018 it fell apart when I tried to wipe it off with a dry towel, the head fell apart, and the circuit board and all the insides fell apart, it was great when it worked "FOR A MONTH" . I was going to order another one from them but canceled it figured why reward them for bad product. company should refund or replace. Lets see if they see this and send a reply.....

After less than a year, the device stopped charging. So, it's great if you only want to use it for a few months.
