Super easy to pair it with fan! Works flawlessly, highly recommend!

I have only owned my fan for 3 years and was quite upset when the remote stopped working. I went to their website and was even more upset when I learned it would cost me $60.00 per month to use their chat service to ''fix'' the remote. Of course, I could cancel at any time but the initial use was still $60.00! I was skeptical about buying this "after market" remote but the reviews were good so I thought I'd take a chance.I am so glad I did!!! This product works just like the original! It took all of 5 seconds to sync with my fan and works just as well as the original. It is well worth the price and I would give it 10 stars if I could!

This plastic garbage may look like the remote but doesn’t work at all. It may light up but that’s it, can’t pair to fan what so ever.

It pairs with ease. Seriously, nearly idiot proof. Unfortunately the model of Harbor Breeze fan that I have will only use one remote at a time. So, since I didn't need it as a replacement, but as a spare - I'm going to return it. Hope you read this review if you have the same plans!

I was skeptical about installing a ceiling fan with a remote control only for this very reason. The old remote stopped working within a year of getting the fan, so it was stuck on one speed and the light only goes off and on at the switch. So if you want to run the fan, the light has to be on. If you want the light on, the fan goes with it, stuck on whatever speed it was on when the pair stopped communicating. This new remote at least gave me control over the fan speed, but it still won't turn off the light on either setting. Booo!

I tracked down the brand of my fan with the missing remote, did an Amazon search and found this mine that matched the look of the old. Put the battery in, follow the directions included in the package and BOOM! You’ve got a ceiling fan again!

Listing says it ships from Canada but it actually comes from Sweden so be prepared for a long wait. It does what it is supposed to is all I can say about the remote.
