Great Customer Service
My battery charger did not seem to be working so the vendor worked with me through a number of videos and emails. They determined it was faulty and shipped me a new one overnight. Very pleased. Board is so much fun!!!

A great product to introduce a person to EFOILING
First, I was impressed with the rapid delivery of this EFoil. I was told it would be a 2-week delivery, but it came within 3 days. The board in one box, and the propeller and wings, remote and hardware in a 2nd box. The battery came in a 3rd box the next day as it is shipped separately for HAZMAT reasons. I am a beginner in this sport, but certainly have been involved in surfing, paddleboarding, some water skiing and many years in snowboarding. I believe all those things will help, but this sport is absolutely different for the obvious reason that you are riding on the hydrofoil wing above the water and not on the surface of the water. That is what makes it a little harder to learn, since it puts the rider in an unexpected reality - a couple feet above the water. But that is the beauty of the sport as well - a wonderful, quiet glide once you get up on the wing. It might be similar to gliding in powder on a snowboard, but again - it is unique. Other than that, with respect to the product - it is everything I expected it would be. It is simple to assemble and disassemble for transport to the water. All the pieces fit in my small utility vehicle quite easily with the back seats down and the hatch access. The board by itself will fit inside the vehicle as well, but it could be strapped to a rack system if you want. I don't transport it assembled, as it is a 10 minute set up at the water. The remote and battery communication is reasonable to get working. There are some tips and tricks when you have issues, and the MACkiteboarding.com folks in Grand Haven Michigan have been great to talk to help me through it. There may be reasons to look at other EFOIL brands, but so far, I am believing that this unit is a great value for the money and a good place to start this fun sport.

Dissapointed!
The product did not work as intended. Will be returning.Unfortunately, could not get battery or hand held to connect.Tried for three days.Forget about it! If it's this hard to connect , cant take the chance. What a disappointment.

Nice guys to deal with
This isn't a review of the board so much as it is a report of my satisfaction with Mackite. The price went down after I purchased the board and they refunded the difference. I didn't really expect them to and was pleasantly surprised. All my future efoil purchases will definitely be through them. Going to the lake for the first time tomorrow and do not forsee any problems. Assembled the board already and checked the controls, charged the battery and had zero issues with any of it. I believe the controller was already paired also. Mackite even has some helpful videos on Youtube to walk you through all the steps.

A good compromise for a lower end efoil
I bought the original Waydoo Flyer One in the Kickstarter in 2020 and I have about 80-90 rides on it. I liked it so much that I bought the newer one sold here in the summer of 2022 so now I own two. I have about 40 rides on the second board. I haven't actually had any issues with my boards or remotes or anything at all - the one problem that I had with both boards was getting a "hull ID number" (HIN) and a Manufacturers Statement of Origin (MSO) from Waydoo - but as far as hardware, I've had no issues at all. I have the explorer wing and the patroller wing and recently I picked up the newer gliding wing. I find that the manufacturer specifications are better than my personal experience. With the explorer I can ride for about 75 minutes, with the patroller it's more like 65 minutes. I weigh about 150 pounds. Top speed that I've ever seen is 23mph (on the gliding wing), but most of the time I ride at about 12-14 mph. The battery seems to charge in about an hour an a half with the battery charger - although I have never actually timed it. The handheld remote charge takes hours, but I only usually charge it twice a season. The ride feels a bit heavier than other comparable boards and this translates to For the boards, the foam is nice to fall onto - particularly for kids - but it also adds weight which makes the board less maneuverable compared to lighter boards. The foam handles scratches and dents better too - as foam would be. But we can be honest and admit that a glossy paint finish looks much classier than the foam of the Waydoo. The Waydoo app - at least for the iPhone that I own - is pretty poor and I have had issues getting it to work at all for the last few months but when it used to work, you can download a map view and stats for the rides. The board disassembles well and I am able to fit two of them at the same time in the back of my medium sized sedan car with the rear seats folded. The board and mast and wings assemble quickly on the beach and I am usually out on the water within 10 minutes or so.Overall, I am pleased with my purchase. It rides a bit heavy, but it still an amazing experience gliding across the water. The manufacturer specs are a bit exaggerated for top speed and ride times but they are not too far off from reality. I haven't had any hardware issues at all on the roughly 120 combined rides on both boards that I own. I am really happy with the board.

Good intro to eFoiling
This is my first eFoil and I couldn’t be happier with the product. The ship came in two parts with the board and the charger first and then battery a week or so later.I’ve only used it in a fresh water lake near Richmond, VA and it has performed well in terms of speed, balance, and durability.
