Great for older computers if you want to convert
A great value for your money I love how compatible it is with my workstation because I do have some PS2 connectors and I was using it for my keyboard but now that I got an editing keyboard I have to go directly into a USB port but I still use another one that's green for my mouse and it's great to connectivity and very easy to use and actually really good quality

Works as intended
I have used this for almost a month now and it works as intended. It is being used on the back of a laboratory instrument where the keyboard gets moved around a lot. It doesn't come loose or indicate any sort of quality deficiency. The material on it is sturdy and durable, or else my laboratory technicians would have it destroyed by now. The previous adapter that we had was good too, just after 10 years of wear, our keyboard stopped typing. We tried different keyboards in case it was a faulty keyboard, but after replacing the adapter, it seems we found a good replacement to last us a long time! I would definitely buy this again if I needed another one.

USB to PS2 adapter
Adapter did not work with USB keyboard. Ended up buying a keyboard with a regular PS2 connection and the keyboard worked fine.

great quality just need to check if you have a compatible keyboard
Great quality, but make sure your keyboard is compatible with the PS/2 port. USB and PS/2 signals are different. This converter only changes the physical shape between USB and PS/2 ports. If your keyboard has a USB port and its chip doesn't support PS/2 signals, and you still want to use it with a PS/2 port, you'll need an active converter. These are hard to find and can be expensive, but they include a built-in chip that converts USB signals to PS/2 signals. Here are two key points to check: Power Requirement: Your keyboard needs to require less than 275mA to operate, as that is the maximum current a PS/2 port can supply. Signal Compatibility: Your keyboard chip must be designed to support PS/2 signals. Unfortunately, there's no easy way to check this—consult the manual, or if you have an older keyboard, it’s more likely to work with PS/2.

Bios doesn't see it as ps2
I needed a ps2 keyboard because usb support for my bios got disabled by a bad prankster. This adapter didn't work. But after I used a real ps2 keyboard and fixed my bios this adapter worked fine to attach a usb keyboard. It basically turns the ps2 port into a usb so that's why the bios didn't recognize it as ps2.

Apparently it does not work in all situations.
This did just what I wanted it to. I had a keyboard with only a USB male connector. This device converted that USB connector to the older style of male connector: PS/2. Ideazon Merc Stealth illuminated gaming keyboard owners: Attention! This device WILL NOT WORK for you. It works perfectly well with another USB keyboard that I have, but not with my USB Merc Stealth. And this is not a unique defect of my Merc Stealth unit. I read some message boards posts on other websites, and there is an entry in the Merc Stealth manual that corroborate what I have said. The Merc Stealth will simply not work with this PS/2 adapter. Also, I read a couple of other reviews here at amazon, and apparently this device does not always work. Therefore only three stars.

Ottimo servizio Amazon

Doesn't work
Possibly a dumb connector. It does not work with a keyboard. I tried two PCs (one Linux and one Windows XP) and three keyboards, an old Compaq, later Microsoft and recent Perixx. The PS/2 mini DIN ports work with any PS/2 cabled keyboard. The USB keyboards work on anything that has USB and supports a keyboard (DOS, Windows 98, XP Win 10, Linux & Android)
