I love this punch! Reminds me of those sticky reinforcement circles we used to use on our notebook paper. This is great for making homemade tags, notes, etc. Definitely worth the purchase!

Great little paper reinforcement punch, but it's important to know a certain feature of this punch that I wasn't aware of. When I punched out the little holes, I couldn't figure out where the "inside of the little holes" in the middle were going. They didn't fall from the punch, so it concerned me. I did some research and you are supposed to pull the lever of the punch upwards and back, then it opens! (I included pictures.) There were all my little hole scraps inside, so I shook them out into my trash can and pushed the lever back down.

I was excited when this punch became available because there has been a need for something like it for quite some time. I just wish this one would have been engineered a little better. The problem is that, after several punches, you have to pick the centers of the reinforcements out of the punch in order to be able to continue using it. I used a pin that I had to bend in order to be able to reach them. It seems there is no exit for that center piece of paper that gets punched out to make the hole in the reinforcer. So, each time you punch, you force another layer of paper into the workings of the punch eventually rendering it useless until it gets cleaned out. A rather tedious and frustrating task but worth it if you wish to use this punch. And I do. However, the minute another company makes a better version, this one will likely go in the trash.Update: Oh my goodness! I just figured out how to get the holes out of my punch so that it will stop jamming. Simply lift up on the levere of the punch and it should pop open to reveal all the tiny circles that I had previously been trying to pick out of the punch with a pin. As a result, I am upgrading my rating from two stars to five. :)

This is the only hole reinforcer punch that I saw and I do love We R Memory Keepers products so I ordered it. It works great except that unlike most punches you can not look through the bottom to determined exactly where you are punching. That makes it harder to get exactly what you want and does not let me punch in the best spot to conserve paper.

I like to add hole reinforcements to my tags and other paper projects so this little tool is helpful. So much easier to punch rather than pulling out my die cutting machine. Highly recommend and pricing was good. Received as promised and thank you!

Although this hole reinforcer punch does punch out a hole reinforcer, it is super hard to work. The mechanism requires a lot of strength to punch through paper that is 80 weight and lighter.

It punches a standard sized reinforcer, and you can use it on paper or light cardstock. It's fun to use to decorate binder pages for journals, on tags, or anytime you want to customize a reinforcer to match your specific project. I recommend it for its practical, as well as aesthetic design use possibilities.

I have had more disappointing experiences with We R Memory Keepers products than I can count. Every product I have ever purchased but their foiling pens has failed miserably.I've had excellent results with Stampin' Up punches, Fiskars punches, Marvy punches, Martha Stewart punches.For this particular Hole Reinforcing Punch, they're the only game in town. Believe me, I worked very hard at trying to find alternatives, given my track record with this American Crafts crap brand.I read all the reviews. I understood users' frustrations. I understood the stupidity of a design that allowed no open views from the bottom. In the end, I gave it a try because there were no alternatives.It came. I tested. It SUCKED.There were two tiny phillips screws on the bottom. I gave it to my Very Clever, can-fix-anything husband. He opened it up, found MAJOR burrs on the metal, sanded them off and now it works. It's still a struggle and no consumer should have to compensate for lousy manufacturing, but it works enough so that I'll keep it because they have no competition on this punch.Shame on you, American Crafts, for selling absolute JUNK with no quality control! If this were a one of- experience with you, I'd chalk it up to a fluke, but we both know better. Grrrrr.
