3M Tegaderm Transparent Film Dressing (2 Boxes)

These Tegaderm dressings work very well and are very reliable. They stick nicely to the skin and stay in place without lifting too easily, even with normal movement. I like that they are clear, so you can still see the area underneath without removing it. It also makes it easier to keep an eye on things while keeping it protected. They are thin and flexible, so they feel comfortable and not bulky. At the same time, they do a good job protecting the area from water and dirt. The box comes with many pieces, which is great if you use them often. Overall, a very dependable product that does exactly what you need.

I use these for my CGM and it works great. It protects from water when I shower and keeps it from getting knocked off accidentally.

It's a great product

Retired nurse who cares for a family member on plavix. Using dozens of bandaids because the blood soaked them. This occlusive dressing is like a miracle. Use frequently for skin tears and cuts. Not only healing more quickly but saving money in the long run. Usually large enough for most accidents.

Helps protect my skin. I wear a Dexcom G7 and the tape doesn’t agree with me! Normally, I feel like I’m peeling off layers of skin and I have an irritated red mark for days. Now, I place one of these on my arm first, then insert the G7. When I remove them both 10 days later, it’s faster, easier, and less painful to remove and I don’t get a sore red spot. I also apply one of these patches before inserting my Omnipod insulin pump on my leg and when I remove them both 3 days later, I have a smaller hole in my leg. It seems to keep the pump from moving around too much, so my skin is less irritated where the cannula is inserted. I will caution that these need time to “settle” before getting wet, though. I take a shower before application and try not to get any remaining exposed Tegaderm wet for at least 24 hours, preferably 36. I wish they made a smaller version that is a perfect fit for the Dexcom G7! They are a perfect fit for the Omnipod Dash/5, but they’re a bit too large for the G7 and they start to peel if they get wet too soon.

These are great. They are easy to put on and stay put. Minus one star for sometimes coming off if you sweat to much. I’ve tried a couple different knockoffs and they all came loose or fell off completely way easier.

Excellent product.i can shower no problem and they are exactly what my hospital uses im pretty sure most if not all.you can't beat the price.highly recommend.

Update: since my original post and purchase through OneHealth, I have reordered these Tagaderm bandages numerous times from other sellers. Other sellers were PharmaPacks and WikiDeals. I have had no issues at all with any of the Tagaderm bandages from these sellers, they work great! The only issue I had was with shipping as they’ve been shipped in flimsy envelopes every time so upon arrival the boxes were crushed, broken, and ruined to the point of them being unusable - but I’d like to point out that the sellers did not ship any of these to me as they all were shipped by Amazon. I personally don’t use the boxes anyway since I store them in something else but if you would use the boxes then you may want to consider this when purchasing. Original review: I purchased through the seller OneHealth and they worked pretty much like the expensive Nexcare version. The ones I received were slightly cut different than the Nexcare version, as the bottom split area barely had the removable paper edge unlike the top area which had more, so because of that it made the bottom a little flimsy when applying as it kept wanting to bend at that split. However I was able to still work with them and get them placed fairly flat. I would get some tiny creases or bubbles but I change it so frequently that those didn’t matter. Most of the time it kept water out however I did find during hot showers/baths it would create water droplets between the bandage and my skin, but this would dry up shortly after. There were a few of the bandages where the edges would roll or come up but nothing that big of a deal to hinder anything and it would eventually reattach when sleeping as the pressure of laying on it I guess reactivated the adhesion. I wear these 24/7 continuously as they cover my medical patch and have had no skin irritation at all. Overall the cost advantage of this large quantity I can’t complain as it did what I needed them for.

Ordered it after my toddler scrapped her knees almost to the bones. It helped the pain, it kept any infection away, she could shower with it, it was not painful taking it off or putting it on. It helped healing of the wounds, unlike regular band aid. Everyone in the family used it and it is really helpful. I read about this product online, where a nurse talked how beneficial it is for deep wounds. Worth every penny.
