I have been reading through this latest book by Jodie Berndt, and I believe it is her best one yet. Packed with so many scriptures which are applicable to almost any situation, it is also full of practical advice (wisdom) from her 35 years of marriage. I am learning new things about how to better my own 35 year marriage while reading it! I am giving it to my daughter and son-in-law as they begin their married life. A bonus is the prayer card with specific prayers to prayer for your marriage and your loved ones marriages.

Jodie provides real application in a gentle way to navigate marriage. She brings Truth and wisdom in an easy to use format. Chapters are arranged by situation/topic to quickly get help where needed. We used Jodie’s book for a summer women’s study and it was a great launchpad for valuable discussion. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! It will be my new go to for newlyweds.

I love this prayer book. The stories this author add to her prayer book are so good. It feels like she is talking to you in person.

We read out of this book about once a week, talk, pray, and set it aside. Having another tool in the marriage toolbox never hurts. Just listen to each other!

I am so in love with the beautiful cover of this book and how peaceful the picture on cover looks. In addition the content of this book is incredible. The author did an amazing job in referencing scripture to our marriages and describing how to apply those to our personal lives. Thank you Jodie! I have read all of Jodie’s books in the Praying the Scriptures series and this is another winner! She has a beautiful way of offering wisdom while drawing you into relevant scriptures. Her books have helped me in my relationships, prayer life and my scripture knowledge. This is a great anniversary gift or a gift for couples getting married.

I am excited to give this book as a gift to a couple who are doing a vow renewal.But I was very disappointed that the external cover is dirty and looks well used.I don’t have time to return it.Whereas the content of the book looks great!

Book supposed to be brand new.. came in the worst possible condition. Don’t buy.
