Dekorra Model 111 Rock Enclosure, Fieldstone Gray

This fit over a shallow underground cistern pump we use for our landscape irrigation system. It was just the right size and is easy to move. That's important because it freezes here for months during winter and I have to remove the pump to keep it from being ruined by freezing, and then reinstall it when the danger of freezing has passed. The 'rock' looks pretty good, especially because I buried the flange at its base with an inch or so of rock fragments. It looks just as if it's a boulder jutting out of the soil. The rock comes with 4 plastic stakes that go through the flange to hold it in place. Right now the winds are around 15 - 20 mph at their strongest and the 'rock' stays put. I'll see how it does when the winter winds top 35 - 40 mph.

Well, it’s like this. New rules for having septic tank covers above ground. Had to get my septic pumped and after digging up the cover to save some money I understand why they want easy access. Now I’m stuck with this ugly cover above ground in my front yard. Checked different alternatives to make it look better and acceptable and came up with buying this fake rock. It’s plastic, and kind of looks like a rock. It’s better than looking at a raised cement septic cover. The plastic seems sturdy and it comes with 4 spikes to hold it down. Now do I think 🤔 if it gets really wind someday it might fly off, possibly that’s why I added other rocks that sit next to it to hold it in place, the spikes could be a little longer. Price wise it was in my budget. Some are more expensive, checked online at different sites and settled on this one. I also made sure the grandkids knew it wasn’t real and not to play on it.

The media could not be loaded.  It’s a great product. It just wasn’t quite tall enough so I had to pack dirt around it.

This company went above and beyond to help me with an issues I had. These are great covers and look real. The really large ones are a little thin so be mindfull of that if you have childer that may be jumping on them or if they are over septic covers. Great produnt and even better service. These are likely to look better longer becasue they are plastic vs fiberglass that can tent to deteriorate aver time in the sun but as a result they are a bit thinner than a fibeglass counter part so there are trade offs. The "Rock" has a very realistic and natural appearance and matches other natural stones in our yard and planting areas. It is very sturdy and appears to be made of high quality materials. I don't know how much it weighs, but it is much heavier than the 3 pounds stated in Amazon's specifications. We are extremely happy with the product, price and delivery.We are using the rock to cover an unsightly, sewer grinder pump in the middle of our back yard.

WE BOUGHT THIS BECAUSE OF A SHRUB THAT WE HAD TO REMOVE, BUT WAS LEFT WITH A STUMP....... UGGGGHHHH THIS LOOKS SO GREAT. I PUT A FLOWER POT OF GERANIUMS ON THE TOP, AND A SOLAR LANTERN ON A SHEPHERD'S HOOK ON THE SIDE OF IT. IT REALLY LOOKS CUTE. GLAD I MADE THE PURCHASE.
