I bought two pairs of this product as gifts for others. While they work great they are bare plastic and don't include covers like a standard heating pad. The plus is that you can wipe them clean the negative is that you SHOULD wear gloves to keep the hot plastic away from your skin. To resolve what I consider a problem, I made removable covers that insert into the mits and then flip to cover the outside too. The covers can be removed and machine washed. If the manufacturer is tuned in, I strongly suggest adding something like this to the product. It cost me about $3.00 to make 4 covers. I would have happily paid more for the mits if they were covered.

I could not tell much of a difference between level 1 and level 2. I had some ligaments that got surgically repaired and needed heat applied to help with mobility before PT. I dozed off with them on… one melted together and the other one felt cool. This happened in about 20min. (I only need to use 1)The switch was so hot, it burned my arm. Since then, I removed the burned mitt, and wired the unit as a single mitt. The heat does still get intense, but not as bad as before. I now keep a smart plug attached to it that keeps a 10 min timer so it will automatically shut off. It has the potential, but just needs some changes for safety. I know you can’t fix negligence, but this seems to be a big risk

The heat from these mitts felt wonderful on my arthritis. One problem was that the cord connecting the two mitts was short. My hands had to stay close to each other and was uncomfortable at times. I wish it were longer.

Bought the help with arthritic hands. There are two settings, “too hot” and “way too hot”. I suppose better than not hot enough but yikes, be sure to wear some mittens or gloves with these or they’re just scalding (and I have a high tolerance for heat).

From the first use these electric hand mitts have not been working properly. When I turn them on to warm them up they feel nice and warm and cozy and the minute you put your hands in they cool right down. Also, when you turn the temperature down it’s like you’ve turned them off there is no heat. There must be a short or something. I need to check into returning these
