eBags Lunch Bag Flight Crew Cooler (Brushed Indigo)

Great for packing meals for 12 hour shifts. Travels well. This is my second one. The first one lasted about 8-9 years…it still works but the wife said I had to get a new one :)Highly recommend, quality product for a reasonable price.

I just received my new lunch bag in preparation to start a new job in a few days. First order of business was to inspect the bag.I checked all seams throughly (with a flashlight) and the seams are well sewn with no loose threads hanging.Next, zippers. I checked them all by zipping and unzipping a few times. They have a nice, hefty, feel to them, far from cheap ones found on a lot of bags. They all slide nicely along the tracks, except the main zipper. Mind you, there is no problem with it, just a bit stiff around the front corners of the bag. That's to be expected, the bag is brand new and should loosen up some over time.On to the side mesh pockets. I tested my water bottles and coffee cups in them and they all fit. Not only fit, the mesh pockets are deep enough that even tall containers aren't in danger of tipping or falling out. Yay, another plus!I loaded up the main compartment with two glass (36oz single, 30oz two compartment - Prep Naturals) meal prep containers and a Rubbermaid salad kit, along with 3 Cooler Shock lunch size ice packs. Plenty of space with room to spare! Yes, I will be able to water bottles easily. Heck, I just threw stuff in for this review. Just wait until I really pack it for a long day!The top compartment will have plenty of room to hold fruit, snacks, etc. And the front compartment, wow. I'm loving the organization posibilities. Okay, I am a gear freak, I admit it. I love the ability to organize,,,with everything having a place and in it's place. I hunted for days before deciding on this bag, just to many dissapointments in the past so I wanted to be careful, especially considering the cost.Overall, I am thrilled and believe I have found the best bag I've every owned. Of course, only time will tell as far as wear and tear goes. With that said, I am a white collar office worker and take care of my gear. I really don't expect issues, but if they do occur I'll revise this post if needed.

If you work outside in 100+ degree weather, this is one of the best lunch coolers you can get. Even though it is not a hardshell case, it retains the cold from blue ice for 8-10 hours. And it is very sturdy.If you are doing car travel or going to your kids' sporting events this cooler does a great job for that too. HIGHLY recommend.

My favorite old lunch bag finally wore out, and I was searching for one just like it but found nothing comparable...until this one. All other lunch bags were so small, like a kid’s sized bag. The other alternative, was getting something huge and ugly, like a camp-type cooler. I was a little intimidated by the size when it arrived (I got the larger one), but it’s perfect for me and the rectangular shape makes it easier to sling over the shoulder for comfortable carry. This bag is not just a lunch bag, but holds my breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and drinks. I work a job with variable hours and like to pack my food for the day rather than purchase from the cafeteria at the hospital where I work. The construction is very sturdy, zippers move smoothly, straps are comfortable, and the inside lining is thick vinyl. I just wish there was a hard plastic removable liner to catch spills, but I just line the inside with a dish towel before placing my containers in it. I highly recommend this bag. You will be happy with the quality and design.

I bought this item on Amazon prime day at a discount. It's the perfect soft sided cooler to take to a baseball game. It's also carry-on legal size (see ebags website with list of airlines). fabric cooler is sturdy, very well made ... internal zipper for ice and cooler "blue ice"; lots of side pockets for snacks. I even loaned it to my mother to take to a pot luck! Can't be more pleased.

Just received the eBags Crew Cooler II today, initial impression....another quality eBags product. I will be the first to admit, when I purchased my first Weekender bag two years ago I was skeptical of the eBags brand. That bag has traveled China, Singapore, Bali and several other places along the way, now adding my wife's junior version. The bags take a beating in every climate, and I've recently added the Professional Weekender for work. I have high expectations for these bags, and today as we looked over the Crew Cooler II I'm pleased to say at first glance this will have a fruitful travel life.Specifically to the Crew Cooler II, we wanted a cooler option for road trips both domestically and abroad. I am not willing to spend $250 on a four letter cooler, not when this $50 is available and provides travel options. What do I mean by travel options? I can collapse this into a checked bag and have it readily available with little weight allowance. Now when we hire a rental car, there's no need to buy a styrofoam or cheap cooler from the local supermarket. Our plan is to first take this on a simple 9 hour road trip into Ontario in July. If it fulfills our goals, we will pack this into our travel cube for our big road trip along the Great Ocean Road and then New Zealand's South Island next winter. For 2 adults, this will easily hold a few bottles of water, cold cuts / hard rolls, a few granola bars, or a small BBQ array to pack out to the beach for an afternoon. I would go on a limb and say for a family of 4, you can pack 4 sandwiches, 4 bottles of water, a few pieces of fruit and still have room for extras. My wife and I love the option to pack meals during our road trip, or have the option of taking dinner to a remote location with a view of the water. If it checks out on these trips into Ontario and later in Australia and New Zealand, we'll update our rating. Overall, another quality product by eBags.
