Authentic Knitting Board Premium Round Loom Set, Small Gauge Knitting Looms

I really like using the KB Premium round looms. They're well made of sturdy plastic and the set includes 3 looms: 64 peg purple loom, 72 peg white loom, and 80 peg large loom, a knit hook, and a pamphlet which illustrates basic stitches and includes patterns for a few projects. The instruction pamphlet is very basic, but the KB website offers lots of instruction videos and even provides patterns for several projects. The pegs are spaced at 3/8' apart which is good for worsted weight and, maybe, sport weight yarns. I've made 2 hats using the orange and white looms and worsted weight yarn. STITCHES MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE!! I used true knit and purl stitches with the large orange loom and the hat produced was a medium size -- stitches were tighter and fit my head very snugly...flat stitches and u stitches would have made the hat too snug to fit an adult head. I used e wrap stitches on the white medium loom and the hat produced a comfortable medium to large adult hat. So...it IS possible to make more than small, medium and large hats. As with any round knitting looms flat panels and scarves can be made as well as rund projects. KB has stamped their logo on the bottom of each loom as well as the number of pegs on the particular loom...I use the markings on the bottom to indicate the tarting peg. There is not a side, anchor peg on these looms, but you can either place a stitch marker on peg #1 or mark the loom somehow. Pegs are closer together which means it takes longer to finish projects...I prefer a lighter gauge for most projects so the extra time needed isn't a problem. I would definitely recommend this product as an addition to your knitting loom stash.

This was the exact size and fit that I was looking for. I purchased plbigger ones but there is more projects for this size. I cant crochet or knit. This is great for any beginner.

Great product for adult hats! I like to use size 6 bulky yarn for a tight knit and this works wonderfully! Wishing there were a medium sized bundle with like 60-45 pegs for more child sizes!

I have never been able to knit. I taught myself to crochet years and years ago but could never figure out how to handle two needles at a time! I make hats for my local Chemo Buddies group but it takes a while to crochet up a hat until I found an old knitting loom in some of my mother craft items. I went on you tube and watched a few videos and decided to buy some looms from Amazon. These KB looms sets are awesome and do much better made than the cheaper brands. I saw where some people don’t like them because they don’t have the side peg like the cheaper looms do but I solved that problem by sticking a sticker under one of the pegs to use as a starting point. I actually bought all three sets of KB looms and I’m really enjoying them. I can now whip up hats in no time at all!

These small gauge looms are great because you don’t have to use bulky yarn. You can knit with worsted weight. And it makes a tighter stitch than most of the plastic looms available. BUT, they don’t have anchor pegs or any anchor, so you need to mark the first peg with a stitch marker or something, and when to cast on, you have to hold on to the yarn some other way, like putting the slip knot on the first peg, or just securing the yarn with your non-knitting hand. Also—be aware this is not the right loom set for beginners, both because of the absence of the anchor peg, and because looping the yarn between the very close together pegs is a bit challenging.

I have the other circular round knitting loom. But it has the larger pegs. I’ve made tons of hats on it, and I love it, however, I could never use any of the finer worsted yarns without it looking gappy. I mean, if you’re gonna wear a hat, it needs to be warm with no ventilation! So, I was pleased to find this round loom with the more numerous skinnier pegs so I could use some of my thinner yarns.. I am really happy with the way it came out. It looks so nice and fine and tight. Now I’m going to see if these guys make a rectangular loom so I can use my smaller yarns for scarves. Great product. Very happy with my purchase.

Authentic Knitting Board always has the best quality

KB is nice enough to post the size of the gauge and the actual measurement of the gauge so you know what you’re getting. The other brands don’t do that you have to buy it measure it and then return it if it’s not the right size. Also, these looms actually have the gauge and number of pages printed on the looms so you know without having to remeasure every time you pick up a loom. Other sets I have purchased have different Gauges within the set. These are smooth and feel very durable. They’re more expensive than other looms available however, they’re worth the money. These 5/8 gauge looms are perfect for smaller yarn (#4 or thin #5) for those of us who don’t always want to knit with bulky #6 yarn.

Love my small gauge KB Looms. We have around 20 different ones now, including 3 I made. These are by far the best and easiest to work with. It makes a good hat too...lol We are going to buy another set so me and the wife won't fight over them...🤣🤣🤣
