Apple iPhone 8 / 7 Leather Case - Black

I really love the Apple leather cases... nothing else I’ve tried is as slim and handsome, or feels as good. The Apple salesman tried to steer me toward a clunky Otterbox leather case, saying the leather was waterproof and “he takes showers with it.” Well that’s not really my style – I tend to be careful with my phones, so this case offers plenty of protection. And I treated it with an oil/wax shoe sealant, which seems to help with dirt and hand oils. My last Apple case was navy, lasted three years and looked great before I lost the phone. For my new phone, I bought two – navy and saddle brown. It’s the perfect case in my opinion. It's been eight years now, and has only gotten better.

This review is for the Product RED leather Apple iPhone case for the iPhone 8/7. I want to first say that there are some reviews on here concerning this saying it is not Apple or there is a bait and switch. This is not the case at all. This is exactly as described brand new in box, and it's gorgeous. While there are, of course, other outstanding cases for all of the iPhones out there, nothing seems to beat an actual Apple product, and if you like having a leather case, then this is the one you should go with. Pick your color and enjoy a perfectly fitting leather case with the classic Apple logo on back!

An absolutely beautiful case. The leather is very sturdy but soft to the touch. Although this was a bit pricey, I didn't mind spending a couple extra bucks on such a high quality case. I personally find this case to be 100% worth the money but I can still understand someone else scoffing at the $45 price tag for such a simple case. What you see is what you get and if you don't like what you see then don't get it.

As with almost all Apple brand products, they are pricey but you get what you pay for which is high quality and durability. The case has held up very well to being dropped and it has been exposed to water spills on occasion. The brown color does show signs of use as it attracts oil from one's hands. A good leather cleaner might be desired to keep it looking new.

I do not always write reviews, but felt this one was worth sharing. I have tried several cases and really like this case. I now have it for my Apple 8 and 8 plus. Nice quality, fits perfects, a little high priced for what it is in my opinion. Fits slim into pocket, or a belt clip designed for an Otterbox Symmetry or Commuter. Works well with a slight manipulation to the clasp that holds the phone in the case ( bend the plastic clasp slightly because the case is so slim. I do not know what some others are talking about, this is clearly an Apple product and designed for the phone.

It's made by Apple for your Apple phone, so it's a perfect fit. The leather feels really good in your hand. The look is sleek and stylish. But for me, the most important aspect is that the buttons on the side of the phone work easily. I've had other phone covers that made the working of the buttons difficult. No problems here. It's also pretty sturdy. I'm sure there are more protective covers out there, but I've dropped the phone a couple of times with this cover on it, and it survived just fine.

Perfect fit as you would expect from apple. The leather ages well over time. If you want it to look new forever I imagine using a leather renewing or cleaning kit would revive it. I’ve preferred the full coverage waterproof cases in the past but, Apple’s slim fitting leather case is minimalist and in my opinion classier. I would buy this for my next phone and I recommend it to others. I would only use a heavier duty case for travel to beaches or outdoor activities.

Basic phone protection at a high price - does not encapsulate a phone the way some of the plastic ones do, but I love the feel, slipperiness goingi in and out pockets, and the simplicity. Durable. I have used this case for many years. Had to get a new one when I changed phones and the old one didn't fit.

In terms of construction and case design - this case is very similar to the AmazonBasics Slim Case. However in terms of materials - this feels so much better. Especially as it ages.

Questa cover in pelle é stata un regalo per una amica che possiede un iPhone 7, però può essere compatibile sia col suddetto modello che con l’iPhone 8. Arrivato puntuale, si é dimostrato un prodotto originale Apple in ottime condizione e ad un prezzo molto vantaggioso (l’ho pagato sui 29 euro contro i 55 degli Apple store).

Bellissima cover in pelle, colore rosso, l’ho acquistata per iPhone 7, purtroppo non calza a pennello, devo dire che quella in silicone presa per iPhone X è perfetta

Funda completamente original de apple, comparada con otras que tengo compradas en tienda. Como cabe de esperar la funda encaja perfectamente y protege bien. Me ha llegado sin síntomas de a ver sido usada o algo por el estilo como comentan otros usuarios. Siempre he usado este tipo de fundas y me gustan. Aunque cabe destacar que con el tiempo se van deteriorando y perdiendo ese color bonito sobretodo por todo el alrededor. Por la demás protege bien, encaja perfecto, es bonita, al principio se siente un poco resbaladiza pero con el pasar de los días debido al desgaste natural de la piel se agarra mejor. Por el precio de 19€ que la he comprado vale mucho la pena.
