Fantastic hooks!
I realized when ordering these were pointed and deep hooks. I decided to give them a try. So easy to use, smooth as glass. ErgonomicallyComfortable. I liked them so much I bought the whole set of sizes I would likely use. I’ve used hooks made in India before and could not adapt. They were just too deep. Divit Shilp are made in Nepal. Not quite as deep as those made in India and that tiny adjustment makes a world of difference. I love these hooks. Buy one and try it before you buy more. The teak wood is gorgeous. They are all beautiful woods. Just remember you should not use cotton yarn on any wooden hooks. Cotton for some reason willRuin the shaft. Buy these now at Amazons price while you can. In Europe I’ve seen them for 54.00 per hook. Buy now, you won’t be sorry.

Very nice ergonomic hook for the price.
I really like the handle shape & weight of this hook. It is also very smooth and glides nicely. This isn't a criticism, just a suggestion. The tip is slightly blunt compared to metal and some other wooden tip, but it works just fine. The distance from tip of hook to where my natural grip would be is a little long. However, that is more a statement on the size of my hands, rather than the hook. It would be great if these came in a "short" size where the distance between hook tip & bulb of the handle is about 1/2 inch shorter.

Decent for the price
I was looking for a more ergonomic crochet hook when I came across this one. There are quite a few on the market that are double this price so I decided to try this one first. It is very lightweight and fits nicely in my hand for crocheting (I haven’t used it enough to see if it helps with hand fatigue but I have to guess just from the shape that it will help at least some). The only drawback I have found is that the wood it is made from doesn’t have the best “slip” to it so it isn’t as smooth moving the yarn as some other hooks I have. That being said, it still does what you need it to. Overall this is a nice hook just wish it had a “slicker” finish to it.

Good and bad, you might get lucky.
I loved it and was also sorely disappointed in it as well. The handle was comfortable to hold, very smooth and a good length. The taper wasn't abrupt and fit very nicely to my fingers. A pleasure to hold. It didn't poke into my palm like regular crochet hooks. Very lightweight and it felt like it was quality. The bad things? The hook wasn't smooth and caught on the yarn and the head was blunted/more rounded than I expected. Maybe it was just bad luck that I got one that was a bit rough. I plan on returning it, which is a shame, because based on the good I was really looking forward to using it.

These hooks are great!
I bought this crochet hook because I wanted to try a wood hook without spending a lot of money. These hook are great for the money and they are very comfortable in the hand. The only thing I would change is to make the tip a little more pointy instead of round but that’s just my preference. I did modify the point the way I like it using sand paper of different grids. It took me just 5 min and now the hook is just how I like it. I now have four wood crochet hooks from this maker. I recommend these hooks!

Glad I purchased this
I have been doing a lot of crocheting using my cushioned hooks and honestly they are starting to feel a little sticky. Instead of spending a lot of money to keep replacing them I decided to buy these hooks and I am very surprised how comfortable they feel, easy to use, lightweight and I don’t get hand aches from crocheting too much. I am very glad I purchased this hook and I plan on buying one in every size that I need. I have both the teak and the resin and very happy with both kinds.

Throat is not smooth
When I got this hook out of its box, I was initially very pleased with it. It has a pleasant grip, it's lightweight, the throat seemed to be a good length, and it's quite pretty. However, upon using it, I quickly realized I would be sneding it back. The throat is not sanded to the same smooth finish as the rest of the hook and snags and catches the yarn with each stitch. I tried adjusting my grip and using different types of yarn, but each time the inside of the throat would catch the yarn. Upon closer inspection, I could see that the throat was rough compared to the rest of the hook.

Pretty bummed.
I have ordered wood crochet hooks from this company before. So I was pretty confident that the quality this time would be the same. That is not the case. The hook is made of wood that will snag on any yarn. Very rough and dry. I'm going to oil it up and see if it helps.

Good quality
Love how the hook looks and feels while crocheting. Wasn’t sure if I should of buying and happy with my purchase. Would recommend.
