Gateway to Chaos Boxed Set (Books 1-4): A Post Apocalyptic EMP Survival Series

This author writes an intriguing plot with many characters.The action is almost non-stop. The main characters are interesting and dealing with others makes it an excellent story.

It has some resemblance to the walking dead. Interesting and believable characters. The good guys are easy to like and the bad guys remind me of people we all know.

There's lots of twists and turns in these books, Payne keeps you at the edge of your seat all the time. I love all the people, but Scott is one of my favorites! It shows how fast society can fall apart and how the malicious evil inside alot of us is revealed, but it also brings out the best in others ,

I know that things like this could truly happen but people aren't prepared for it the greeting needs books like this one opened your eyes if you allow it to it was very interesting to read and I truly enjoyed it.

Awesome series I was glad Rainey and Scott got to meet up with their family's! Really great series very scary but uplifting

The basis for this story was good; however, the plot didn’t really need all the extras. I almost stopped reading since the efforts to achieve a safe place to live kept cycling. Enough was enough. This is not a quick read, but a revolving circle of hardship after hardship. It was also quite violent. I guess I just got bored with saga.

A lot of really good scenes. The inner strength you would have to depend on to survive a scenario like this is something so many wouldn't have. I appreciate the characters that have that strength. A definite recommend.

A great read and a good look into what might happen sooner rather than later here in America scary as it sounds

Just one fight after another and senseless killing, with very little story thread to hold it all together. Very disappointing read.

I do love character driven stories with the right balance of thrills and action. I was not too fond of the cartel portion but it didn’t take away from my overall enjoyment. Some of the deaths were quite gut wrenching but added to the absorbing and emotional narrative. A good read. I highly recommend it for those who love post apocalyptic stories where there isn’t a need to find a solution for the circumstances that led to the apocalypse.

After reading these great stories by T.L.PAYNE I highly recommend these books about the reaction and heroism of the characters. Their doubts and triumphs show that they could survive in a world changed so much by a disaster. As I said , a very good read.

Avery good read one that was impossible to put down, although i thought the ending needed a little bit more thought to it, i recommend the books
