This is the time when some companies are coming out with a rubber type mat that actually is sticky and keeps the beads from rolling around. This person has taken advantage of that new design to say that this is ALSO a sticky mat. It is not. It is just a little larger foam mat that you see sold everywhere. It is better than nothing, and I do use the foam mats, but I bought this thinking it really was a sticky one. It also came wrinkled and squashed. Not good for beading. I don't recommend this product or seller. I am sending it back.

Paid $5.00 for a super thin piece of flimsy foam that probably could have gotten at fabric store for less than $1.00. Yes, it is soft but it is porous and I can foresee that small seed beads will get down into the foam and be very difficult to pick up.. Not something I would ever buy if I had been able to actually have it in my hands before purchase. Glad this is for myself because I would be totally embarrassed to gift it to anyone sight unseen. best use would be to cut it up and glue it to bottom of vase or something to keep object from scratching furniture. Or use as face washing cloths. So disappointed.

It allows me to work on my jewelry making without beads or other parts wandering off. It serves the purpose I bought it for. I do think black would give me a little more visibility of the tiny beads, but this works just fine.

This is a very thin lightweight mat. It's suitable for the price point. It's really just a very thin foam pad. It does help jump rings and beads or other small things from rolling, so it does fit its purpose. No frills but does the job.

Definitely keeps beads in place! No more rolling beads. I will look for a larger size too.

It's great for working with gems...

I have a beading board. But I still find myself beading on these mats instead. Worth having around.

Smaller than the pic appeared to be, but worth the cost!
