Harder than it looks
I liked the design of this puzzle, but it was more difficult than I expected. Lots of almost white pieces almost made me quit halfway through! Overall still enjoyed the challenge and all pieces were there.

Great for a Challenge; Terrible for Beginners
Your enjoyment of this product will entirely depend on what kind of puzzle experience you're looking for. Beginners will probably be in tears. But for those of you who gravitate towards all white puzzles, photos of wheat fields, and those evil double sided puzzles, you'll love this one!The picture has fun colors, which makes it look deceptively easy. But this is NOT an easy puzzle. It is extremely difficult. I've done a ton of puzzles in my time from a wide variety of brands. I can usually estimate the difficulty level pretty well just by eyeing the picture. But what totally caught me off guard here was the puzzle cut. The pieces are NOT your classic 1-4 hole shapes. Instead the cut is very bizarre, emphasizing slanted sides, triangular loops, and a lot of variation. If you are used to sorting by piece shape, forget it--that strategy won't work at all on this puppy. Sorting by color is tough as well because once you break it down, there's a ton of white and a whole lot of spackled pieces. If you're good at eye balling shapes, you'll once again find that your skills aren't helping you to the degree that you're used to. This is because the very unconventional piece cut causes spaces to get divided up in random, unpredictable ways. Spaces that would be an obvious single piece slot in other puzzles might hold 1-3 pieces in this one. So estimation is tough. On top of what I've already described, there's another layer of challenge: what I call "fakers." These are pieces which can fit in many different slots. Usually this comes up in brands that use a very repetitive cut pattern, but in this baby, it feels like there's no end to how many slots you can get a bizarrely shaped piece to snuggle into. By the time you're working with partial fits and random cuts, the possibilities abound. The piece quality is great--forget about that "click" that lets you know the fit is just right. Doesn't happen here, but the pieces are nice and thick. They're also loose, so moving sections is tricky--you have to use the old stretch and lift strategy (or the classic spatula approach to just scoop up a section). Bear this helpful tip in mind: if you can't find the piece you're looking for, it's quite possible that you've already put it in the puzzle, just in the wrong slot. Can't count how many I had to relocate. My experienced puzzling partner and I worked together to conquer this one. It took us many hours and multiple days using different sorting strategies (none of which were that great). So all of this said, if you want a challenging experience, this is the puzzle for you. It's not oversized like some 30-inchers, so that makes it more convenient for one person, or for two people to have plenty of room on a table to work on pieces outside of the puzzle. Sometimes you really want to dig in and have a puzzle last a while--if that's the case, this is a great choice. It's a surprising level of difficulty and a real lesson on what a difference piece shape can make. If you're up to the challenge, enjoy!

Pretty puzzle / BAD poster
If you like to use the posters as a guide this wont help you with this puzzle. Poster colors are totally off. Tiny pieces that look like the boarder but aren't. Toughest puzzle ever, almost returned it.

I found the poster to be a little blurry. Time to donate it to someone with more patience.
Inside poster blurry.

My favorite puzzle so far
I've done a lot of puzzles: cardboard puzzles, wooden puzzles, abstract puzzles, picture puzzles. I'm really enjoying this one. My favorite puzzles are relatively challenging (but I would never want to do, say, an all-white puzzle or a puzzle in a single repeating pattern) and have pieces in lots of different sizes and shapes. This well-made puzzle has pieces with fun variations in size and shape, and I like the way the shells have rough outside textures and flowy smooth inside textures to keep the picture interesting. Highly recommend.

Challenging!
Puzzle pieces were a bit too thin and interlocking was a bit loose so that sections fell apart when trying to move. Good picture quality and very challenging since pieces were all differently shaped. Correct orientation of each piece was difficult to determine but I enjoyed taking my time to work on it.
