Does the job
This was a little tricky to install, but not too bad. It has held up well.

Perfect. Unfortunately this is the second one I needed one year later, take note that if your boot gasket rips, it is because the load was really unbalanced and banging around, which probably means there is something else broken inside the machine. Mine was caused by bad dampers (shocks). I wish I had thought about it the first time, those are really easy to replace, and the gasket has to come off anyways to get inside from the front, so it can be done at the same time. Fyi, check the FD#, Bosch has a bunch of FD #'s for the Bosch Nexxt 500. I accidentally previously ordered a 667487 (I needed the 667489). See picture. Also, it is a bit of a chore to get the springs on, I used flat head screw drivers and two people to pry them on, but I wished I had looked up diy boot spring tool on the web, I later found that there are some ingenious ways to make it much easier to put the spring back on.
