This is for the ALPHAREV RC Boat - R208 . NOT THE MINI !!... First, WOW! Its a blast !!..Having been in the R/C car and plane hobby for 30 years, Im very impressed by this little boat. It is plenty fast for my 21 foot diameter round pool which I bought it for. I cant even really get it to max speed before I have to turn. I now want to take it to a local park pond to let it stretch it legs! This is no Walmart toy. It actually has hobby grade components like adjustable steering servo and a WATER COOLED MOTOR ! I was able to easily adjust the steering linkage to make it turn a little sharper at slower speeds. Now at higher speeds it turns on a dime and can actually submarine itself. For the first few battery charge cycles, the Driving times were a little short and the low battery alarm came on quickly, but after 3-4 cycles , I easily get 10-12 minutes of aggressive driving before the alarm starts. I highly recommend this for anyone wanting a boat to mess around with in a pool, you can always drive slower, but this has some punch and speed for some excitement! Only downside I can think of is that it comes with a USB charger that takes 3 hours to charge the battery. And now I want to get more batteries. Considering changing the connectors so I can charge it faster with my hobby chargers...Anyhow, Great Boat , especially for $40. Glad I chose it would do it again...and just might so I can RACE.lolUPDATE- Bought another one to race -great FUN. Battery life does get much better after a few charge cycles- This is Normal for LIPO batteries. Also found that the top speed is greatly affected by the condition of the propeller; my first prop began to get just the slightest amount of damage from hitting rocks at the pond and the chlorine floater in the pool. The prop was cavitating very badly. Replaced the prop and the boat was fast again. I used sand paper and smoothed out the rudder and stabilizers -made a difference. TAKE AWAY- take care of the prop. If it seems slower, change it out. Great little boat!

Absolutely the best 40$ I’ve spent in a long time. The top part is a little tricky to get set, but once the battery is charged, MAN this thing will fly. You’re gonna have to adjust your trim, but once it’s inline, this thing is FIRE! It’s fast enough to probably break small children’s bones, so don’t buy it for your kids. Buy it for your husband, or your baby’s daddy. It’s a lot of fun, it’s fast, and chances are you can scare some geese more than they scared you as a child!

We bought two of these and race them around the lake. They are super fast but the battery runs out really quick so I bought two extra batteries.

I purchased this RC Boat for my nephew. Took th the boat out to the lake and this thing is fast. Remote lost connection once due to it getting out of range. So, make sure you have the means to retrieve your boat. Super easy to control and learn. My nephew loves it!

I recently purchased the AlphaRev R208 RC boat and have been having a blast with it. The first thing that struck me about this boat was its impressive speed - it can easily reach 20+ MPH, which is really impressive for an RC boat of this size. The remote control is easy to use and has good range, allowing you to control the boat from a distance.

The product only worked one time. We then charged battery as instructed. The second time we tried to use it, the remote control would not turn on. There is no phone number in instructions to contact the seller to get it replaced.

Boat is a blast to use. Nice kit for kids to enjoy. First boat the steering died within an hour or so if use. Amazon swapped out for a new one and no issues. Be careful of the water exit for the water cooling on the side. The water comes out extremely hot.

Our grandchildren love the remote control boats. They are fun. My disappointment is in the fact that the batteries do not keep a charge very long!
