Fact or Crap DVD Game

Good game. Needs more levels it was only 15 minutes before the questions started duplicating.

Thought this game would be fun, turned out to be boring. You only receive around 6 seconds to read the question and answer with the remote after reading there is barely enough time to react. The questions were really random and obscure to two different age groups (18-22) and (45-55). The 'Rush Hour' questions are also hard based solely on the time constraints - a player from one of the teams has 23 seconds to correctly answer 4 questions being read to him or her by a member of the opposing team, barely enough time to read the questions out loud and all four answers must be correct to receive any points. The chips have no relevance whatsoever to the game and Howie became annoying quickly as he only has about 4 comments made on a loop. Family quickly became bored with this game.On a positive note - the DVD does keep score for you and we thoroughly enjoy the Hot Seat cushion! We now use the cushion for our other DVD games - especially 1 vs. 100 (Which I highly reccommend!!!)Bottom line - definitely not worth $30 - thankfully I purchased it for $10 at Meijers

I have a few of these Imagination DVD games, and this is by FAR the WORST. Howie Mandel is one of the most pretentious, unfunny and overrated and overexposed phony personalities out there. He's exceptionally obnoxious in this game, which is just bad. The DVD game thing is just a missed boat and a dead fad.. Good riddance. I wish the same were true for Howie, however after a failed talk show, bust stand up career, failed goof show, failed movie career and failed TV game show host, he still annoys us non-stop on other talk shows and as co-host on AGT.. The man has never said or done anything funny in his ten million year career. This game included.

I bought this thinking it would be as fun as the board game. Turns out, Howie Mandel constantly gets on your nerves with sarcastic, condescending insults whenever you get an answer wrong...or when he's letting you know it's another person turn to play. We're not tenderhearted people and we hated Howie's character after only a few minutes...and it just got worse. Granted, if you get a lot of questions right, he's not as insulting, but he's still annoying. It's a shame, since I tend to like Howie Mandel. I don't know what they were thinking on this one. I recommend sticking with the board game.

When you first start playing, Howie's sarcasm is pretty funny, but it goes downhill quickly as you start to hear the same lines over and over again. Most of the questions are so bizarre that we had no clue what they were talking about. We all agreed that the hot seat mat and chips were pointless and this game could have been sold as just a DVD...not that we would buy it.

If you are looking for a great game to play as a group, then this is the game for you! Having Howie as the host is an added treat, as you try to answer numerous questions correctly before the time runs out. The bigger the group, the more fun you will have. If you love trivia games, then give this a try.

I purchased this for an ederly community. The questions were not appropriate for this age group.
