Bought these as a birthday present for myself,only being 40 some dollars there’s not much to complain about they turned out really nice did not expect for be that cheap they would be this nice. But I do have one suggestion is if you have a extended cab short bed to a 4 door long bed is to buy the extension you may think they will be the perfect length you won’t need them well you will I made that mistake and ended up having to but the extension.

Ease of use, pretty

I got the 8 pod set and they worked ok. The instructions tell you to test them before you install them, so I did. They are bright, lots of colors, and the wiring harness seems pretty long. Construction appears solid and all the mounting hardware looks good. The keychain remote has a nice solid feel as well, and works good.While testing them, I found three issues with them.1) When you change the color using the app, the brightness goes to MAX. I looked everywhere, there is no setting to adjust this, it's just the way the app is programmed. The keychain remote has no function to adjust the brightness. Very annoying but not a deal breaker.2) The app REQUIRES that you have internet access. I don't use my rock lights in the city, I use them off-road, so this is pretty much a deal breaker. I tested this by going into airplane mode then enable Bluetooth, open the app and click on the lights in the menu, the app reports "unable to connect". Turn off airplane mode, open the app, click on the lights in the menu, presto, it connects.3) the app REQUIRES location access on your phone, this is absolutely a deal breaker. Maybe it's just me, but any led rock light app that requires your exact location is a serious security issue. I tested this by denying location access the first time, ( why would it need my location? ) the app was unable to find my lights over Bluetooth after several attempts. Restart the app, this time I allowed access, the app found my lights instantly.Bottom line, they work great, if you want max brightness every time you change the color and the manufacturer knowing you exact location.

The lights are great but the app constantly needs to be reconnected to the lights. They seemed to revert back to the factory settings so they start flashing red after I had them set to the color I wanted. I have them connected to my courtesy lights and having them revert back to the flashing red is lame.

My son got these for his truck. The installation process was smooth and easy. They were easy to adjust and the length of the cords were a good length for his truck. They have proven to be waterproof and they have stayed adhered where he installed them. Amazing value for the money.

installed on 6/1/24 check these before you permanently install them.mine will work for an hour then crap out. after sitting 24 hours they'll start to work again.they also like to randomly turn on and off. it has killed my battery while sitting in the garage twice now.the app from my phone constantly disconnects as well, remote stopped working 6/6/24wished they worked better i wouldn't have complaints.easy install.

I'm a golf cart technician and install these on a customer's golf cart. I have to say he's very happy with the switch to pods versus rope lights. Hope they hold up longer than the last set

Wow with this product. Fast delivery, looks to be really good quality, the led lights are really bright. Very happy with this order so far.
