Best money I've ever spent on a planner, will definitely buy another for 2019
I absolutely adore this little planner! I've tried close to 25 different planners (I know, I know, I'm nuts) and this is the one I have used truly "almost every day" like the name Hobonichi translates to in English. The A6 size daily pages are enough room for me to take a few notes, list a schedule, or just decorate if it's a slow day. The monthly calendar is sufficient for my appointments at a glance, and it's small enough I can carry it everywhere without feeling like a dork, unlike trying to schlep a giant spiral-bound book everywhere in life.I was worried about how thin the paper is, but it's very special paper that doesn't bleed unless you are using alcohol-based inks (i.e. Sharpies). I bought what they call a pencil board to go in mine and it makes writing even better by giving you an extra solid surface and opaque background for each page as you write, and serves as a handy bookmark for the day.The Hobonichi user community is wonderful as well, with many people across the world sharing their love of this little book and the stunning artwork they create on the daily pages. Check out groups on Facebook, #hobonichi on Instagram, and Youtube videos for all sorts of amazing ways people use these planners!

Love it!
I love it! Exactly what I was looking for. I thought I was going to be one of the people that loved experimenting with different calendars in their traveler's notebook but it wasn't for me. I love having the compact size entire year in one calendar. Initially I thought I wanted the avec but the Techo fits perfectly. I don't plan to water color or use tons of stickers so I hope it stays compact. If it gets too thick I will consider the avec again for 2019 but I really prefer this cover. The paper is fantastic. Very thin yet sturdy.

My least favorite planner
I’ve tested several different planners over the years and this one, so far, is my least favorite.I still do not understand why this one was so highly rated when it offers the least functionality and options that others produce. It offers little to no space to write...anything.The compact design is nice but not at the loss of useable space.

Love it
The paper is thin... but nice and smooth. There is a little bit of ghosting as there is with most thin paper. I really like that there is a page for each day. I have tried to use blank books (bullet journal style) before as a planner but I am too disorganized and I need every day already listed so I don’t forget things. I love the quotes. It’s suprisingly compact too

Love the A6!
This is my second year in the A6 Techo and I love it! Just enough space when paired with the A6 Stalogy for notes.

Great Diary Alternative
I absolutely love it. I use it with a fountain pen and it writes so wonderfully. I love the fact that each day has a page, meaning each day is treated the same. It feels very elegant and I almost want to show it off.

Great quality, paper is a bliss to write in
Great quality, paper is a bliss to write in, a little bit of ghosting but doesn't interfere with writing.Be aware that it's size A6, that makes the space limited even if you write small. I'd suggest getting a fine point pen to write with.

It’s the perfect size to throw in a purse
I’ve been using this product for years. It’s the perfect size to throw in a purse. The Tomoe River Paper used is super thin but moderately resistant to bleeding. I use it as both a date book and journal because there is a full page dedicated for each day in addition to the monthly/ weekly/ annual views.
