We brought this to keep food cold on a 12 hour road trip. First we tested it by leaving it in the fridge for 48 hours and timing how long it took to lose its chill. In an ambient temp of 19c it took 20 minutes to go from 3c to 15c so it didn't retain the cold that well but we made it work for us by using 6 frozen blocks. Would be good if the manufacturer made internal compartments to slot these in.Another reason we chose this product was storage.. being able to flat pack it when not in use.It goes no where near as flat as they advertised it but it's using less space than if it was in its popped up form and fits quite well in our King bed side draws.

Very pleased with this bag as I used this for putting my frozen food and uncooked meat and chicken from the supermarket and they kept as good as they were when I put them in. I did kind of know they would be ok as I did a little experiment of cold water bottles from the fridge and noted how long they would keep cold. I must admit I did forget about them but I photoed them before and after and they went in at 12.15 pm and came out at 16: 38 pm so thats roundabout just over 4 hrs and although not as cold as when I put them in they were still cold so I was impressed and it was a very warm day in June so I am very happy with this bag as it not only looks good it preforms as well as I expect it too.

This is basic lunch bag, good size though. It has insulation inside which doesn't help as much as I expect. It's not a fridge after all. Bag looks good, nicely stitched, everything in its place, no damages. This bag is good for picnic on day out. To increase effectiveness of this bag, we can use additionally ice pack placing it inside the bag. This bag came with shoulder strap which matches the handles on the bag itself. When I put sandwiches and drinks from fridge, the next time I opened the bag, these chilled sandwiches weren't as cool as I expected. They started to warm up. Another time, I opened the bag, all the cool air has gone totally. Next time I will use ice packs to keep food colder for longer.
