Where is this peak design mobile tripod manufactured? not interested in paying these prices for something made in china. thanks.

It’s made of high grade milled apple-esque aluminum. It’s extremely strong. I’m unsure of where it’s made though. I’m sure those details could be found on the peak design website.

How well would the magnet of the peak design mobile tripod hold a samsung galaxy s23 ultra with a uag mag-compatible case?

I have a iPhone mini & it works fine, though the magnet isn’t super strong & might have problems holding larger phones.

How adaptable are the legs? There are a million adjustable stands, but how does this work with super uneven surfaces that aren't stable.

It adheres to your camera via a Peak Design case, the magnets are strong. There’s a built in tool to tighten the legs - very smart. But I found that they could not be tightened more. The legs bordered on loose and couldn’t be tightened more. So, extending the legs to the max provided the most stability. I would have preferred more adjustable options. As far as mini tripods go, there are other less costly and flexible options. Peak Design gets a C for designing and engineering this item.

Has anyone traveled with one of these and any issues with bringing through TSA in carry-on?

I had it with me from Miami to Atlanta and was able to travel but can’t recall if it was in checked or carry on.
