I was excited to order this … only to find that it doesn’t have an app. It was too late coz the money has left my bank. But also satisfied that nobody can hack just in case. Installation is easy, instructions are easy to follow… I did it myself- took about 30 mins- probably less if I have a powered screw driver. Finger print works, code works. Not sure how long will the 4 AA battery last. But will see

We purchased two of these locks. When we had an issue with one of the lock the seller was very responsive. When we explained the issue they determined a replacement was needed. Within a week I had a new lock and was up and running again. This Lock is super easy to program and finger print sensor is very responsive.

I love this door lock! So much that we bought one for each of our new doors. It was easy to install, it looks great and functions great HOWEVER, the fingerprint reader is absolutely useless. It rarely ever works; I have only got the fingerprint reader to work a few times. I have tried it with my fingerprint and my boyfriend's and it's always the same result. I have even tried resetting/making a new fingerprint and it still does not recognize a fingerprint. I have given up on using that function and use a 4 digit code. We do not have the auto-lock feature turned on at this time. We are using Amazon Basic AA batteries in it but I am unable to comment on battery life as it has only been a few weeks.

I chose this item due to the abundance of good reviews, so thanks to all of you whom take the time to write the good, bad and fugly about any item......I have steel doors and was a bit skeptical, but install was a breeze. The instructions are clear cut and no guess work. I like the bottom handle most bc it's SOLID....took me 45 minutes from start to finish (including removal of current locks) .....and I am a woman, so, I am sure you Men whom are more tool savvy than I am, can get this done in under 30 minutes. Fits like a glove, amd I like it so much, I'm ordering another one ! Thanks to all !!Woman approved, Steel door approved, and yes, even tool challenged approved!! 🤗🤭---update added:OMG...Amazon got me....I liked it so much, I bought 2 more for my side doors...LOL...Now all 3 of my Steel doors have this lock !! AVOID!!! AVOID!!! AVOID!!!Worked great for about 3 months. Now it sometimes takes up to 10 minutes of waiting and trying before the lock decides to unlock again. Doesn't matter if I type in the code or use the fingerprint. AVOID!!!

Once installed, it works really well. The auto lock gives piece of mind to not worry if I lock the house or not. To open with finger print works every time. This is my first day using it. Installation however is not so simple as my existing holes in the door will need to be adjusted due to auto lock function that requires the locking rod is clear to move into through the latch without any obstacle. So I have to carve out the side of the latch for the door handle to get the door to shut tighter so the locking rod can go into it's locking hole unobstructed.

Great quality, easy to install and major custom upgrade look for my home. Also these are much easier to use than the doorknobs that were installed. Keypad is easy to program, just save the instructions!

This was a great buy. We needed to replace a ball style passage lock and the deadbolt because the old guy couldn't operate the ball style knob to open the door and was always unable to figure out which lock (passage or deadbolt) was keeping him from opening the door. A lockless lever style is easy for him physically and mentally.The deadbolt piece is the best part of it. Easy to install and program. Love the auto locking, being able to open the door with a key or a code or a finger print.Nice have backups if one fails. The deadbolt deploys smoothly and accurately...it doesnt get jammed like our previous smart lock ... that was dumb as a rock.It was really nice being able to get in my front door again! The old guy had torqued and pulled and twisted the ball style knob so much that the latch would no longer release/open.

I love every thing about this door lock and the handles. If you buy this item you better read this: if you want to use the fingerprint it work perfectly but remember this, when you register your fingerprint you have to go really fast, if you go slow it won't work.

The media could not be loaded. Original: Not sure what’s going on, but I have brand new batteries in my brand new lock and it is not working to lock OR unlock using the key pad, help would be great.Update: dead bolt was trying to lock in the wrong direction, was complicated to sort out but eventually fixed and working after a few days. No where in instructions does it explain how to ensure/ set the right direction of opposite of original set.

It definitely works well and so nice on my door.. I love the fingerprint feature.
