fit my 2003 silverado
My key wasn't returning for the last few days from the start position and starter would stay ingaged. This is the piece that returns the key to the run position. Not the housing or the tumbler that the dealer wanted over 3 hundred dollars to replace. This was a twenty minute fix by simply taking the bottom column cover off and switching this switch.

Poor quality
Key falls out of ignition cylinder while driving. Yellow shipping plug in cylinder hole was almost impossible to remove.
