What if you were dropped in the woods with little more than a knife, your wits, and the (hopefully warm) shirt on your back? Could you survive? If youโd read this book, the answer is yes! Survival! Itโs one of our most primal fears, most basic needs. What do you do when everything is stripped away except your will to prevail? Cool book - Built to withstand the elements!
This is an awesome book. It has very simple explanations and pictures on how things work. I know quite a bit about living in the woods but you can always learn new stuff right. Plenty of interesting ideas that you would not think of. The book itself is made of some kind of coated paper that can withstand all kinds of abuse. The corners of the book even have metal covers on them. I opted for the print copy so in case the SHTF this will always be there. I love my kindle but eventually the battery will wear down. I think its an worthwhile investment and a good reference manual for someone who wants to survive in the backwoods.

Awesome book!
This is one of the nicest survival books I've gotten yet. And I've got quite a few. The color photos and the amount of information in this book is incredible. It's not super advanced however the color photos really do a lot for everything in the book. I highly recommend adding this to your survival skills arsenal.

Good book
Its a little hard to read, the background is blended into the words so its a bit hard to read under med light.. I even used my head lamp in various light modes and still hard to read some pages.. Other than that was a very good read.. I'd say this book is for a advanced beginner..
