Good fit for a Genesis II Model 310 and it works (for now)
The OEM ignition failed after 10 years. I ordered a new OEM ignition from Lowe’s at 4 times the price, since I saw some negative reviews for this. Lowe’s promised 4 day delivery but I canceled the order after 10 days, since all they could tell me was that it “shipped.”While the old ignition module worked with the new button, I decided to use the new ignition module and button with the old spark igniters, given one reviewer’s comments about having challenges adjusting the igniter gap. The noise from the igniters sounds louder with the new ignition module. Bottom line is that it works (for now).Several reviewers made comments that this ignition module is cheap Chinese junk. It is significantly lighter than the OEM module that was also made in China. I took another reviewer’s recommendation about putting a small piece of aluminum foil inside the battery compartment of the button, to insure a better connection.I’ll update this review if I have problems with this ignition module.

Read this if your new Igniter kit does not work and fails to light the burners
I have an older Genesis 330 and needed a new igniter. This kit was much more price friendly than the Weber labeled version so I gave it a try. Honestly, in looking at detailed Weber pictures of their unit, they seemed to be the same as third party as well, just in a Weber box. After installing the kit the gas tubes would not light. All the igniter electrodes were sparking. I could smell Propane and the electrodes were right over a gas tube hole. I stuck a lighter in there and the tubes lite right away. HMMM, I have spark and gas but no bang. After rolling up my sleeves to get into the issue I noticed that the electrode "snap" sound seemed low. Looking at the electrode tips they were all very close to the gas tube. So, at first glance, that seemed "right". Nope, that is what is wrong. I used a flat blade screw driver to lift the porcelain away from the gas tube. and the gas tube ignited instantly. After my discovery I decided to fine tune the electrode height. I was able to get flat blade under the electrode and bend it up by pressing down hard on the porcelain and flexing the electrode up. I tried all different "setting" and found I could make each gas tube light with a single press of the igniter button with about 1/8" gap. the snap sound became much louder, as you would expect to here. Now my old grill literally lights with a single press of the igniter button on each tube and the familiar snap is there.I was ready to toss out the "cheap" igniter and buy a Weber version. Happy I did not. Hope this way too long review helps others understand this issue and resolution.

Stopped working after 11 months
I bought this to replace the ignitor in my Weber Genesis 330 grill. It was easy to install but after less than 11 months, it stopped working. Sure it is cheap but if it needs to be replaced every 10 months or so, the price of multiple replacements will be higher than the one Weber part. Then again, I cannot attest to whether the Weber part is any better than this one.

Didn’t work on my Weber SS330
Seems reasonably priced and decently made but didn’t work on my Weber SS330

Fixed with a 3" long piece of aluminum foil.
The pushbutton is the wea point on this igniter. It relies on the conductive plastic paint to complete the circuit when pushed. After six months, my ignitor stopped working reliably. I read through a bunch of reviews and found that the button is the likely culprit for most failures. I added a piece of aluminum foil inside the button so that when the button is depressed, a connection is made between the foil, which extends down and around the negative pole of the battery, and the steel spring inside the ignitor. Had the button came from the factory with a steel clip inside to complete the circuit, this would be a great buy.

Works perfectly.
I only needed the wires (damn rodents chewed up the last ones). I left my original button on the grill and used the wires from this kit to replace the ones I lost (it was cheaper than buying the wires and igniters separately and now I have a spare push button if the other ever corrodes or fails). I did have to tweak one ceramic igniter to get the distance to the burner correct to light but it was no big deal.

Igniter box works for Weber Genesis E310
This after market igniter replacement is for part 7629 Genesis 330 gas grill (front-mounted control panel). However the same push button module igniter box works for part 7628 Genesis 310 and 320 gas grill (front-mounted control panel). The only difference is part 7629 has 4 wires and 4 electrodes (nicely color coded) while part 7628 has 4 wires and 3 electrodes (the 4th wire connects to the side of the 3rd electrode - see Weber website for picture). Most often the module box fails but the electrodes still work, which is what happened with mine. It's a quick fix with this kit. Got it for $20. Would buy again. NOTE: I also coated the connectors with Permatex 22058 Dielectric Tune-Up Grease, 3 oz. Tube, to prevent it from corroding and last longer.

You need to adjust the spark gap to make fire
Bottom line on this is that product is solid, and worked perfectly for me once I increased the gap between the sparking electrode and the gas tube.A previous reviewer set me on to this, and I wanted to echo it here. The key to getting this to work is to ensure a large spark arc between the electrode where the spark comes from and the gas tube where the spark is going. As shipped, my electrode was really close to the tube, made only a short spark, and didn't ignite the gas. Using a flathead screwdriver, I bent the electrode up, increasing the gap and making a larger spark. From that point on, got fire every time.Happy Grilling!

Great replacement for my Weber Genesis EP-330 (LP)
After many years, the spark was getting weaker and weaker. Sometimes I had to press 5 times or more. I first replaced just the ignition unit, the device with the knob :-)Anyway, it worked beautifully so I didn't bother replacing the wires to avoid the extra work and just kept them as spares.

Weber 300 Series BBQ Igniter
Works just like the original when it was new. Very easy to install - didn't need to replace the wires or spark tips - will keep for future if ever needed. Great price. Very pleased.

On Fire
The kit arrived and was easy to install. However, instruction would have been useful - just to make me feel better! I have not replaced the individual ignitors because they seem fine.

Stopped working after 3 uses
We missed our window for return on this item but only used it twice and it stopped working altogether. Fit well and worked fine the first 2 times and then just stopped sparking completely. We tried a battery of course but that's not the problem. Save you money and try to get a Weber version that you know will work or will at least have a manufacturers warranty.
