ELEGOO UNO Project Basic Starter Kit with Tutorial and UNO R3 Board Compatible with Arduino IDE for Beginner

Great little starter kit and works a treat. However the manual comes on a CD and not sure how many people have one of those. I believe you can download the manual online. All in all good value.

This just a learning tool for me. This review is from a personal view and not an experience one. I am just trying my hand at various activity and I found this interesting and enjoyable. I wanted to make something that has a use albeit a limited one, but I have since found out these units are very versatile, so I have more learning to do. I have since purchased a book on how to program these units.

Great for beginners getting an introduction into Arduino programming. It has most of the things you need, but is lacking things like an LCD screen. The construction quality of the parts is very good, but I have managed to burn out one of the LED bulbs over a few months of light usage. It comes with a CD with some tutorials on it, but I have never used this myself since most tutorials can be found online. All in all, a good choice.

My first foray into the world of Arduino. This is a fully compatible Arduino Uno clone, and uses the Arduino IDE to create the programs (or should I say "sketches"). I have found this great fun, as has my son. For the price, and all the bits and pieces the starter kit comes with, I cannot fault it. You can get an Ardunio clone unit cheaper elsewhere, but once you've added the breadboard, wires, LEDS etc. this starter kit is very good value. (Though, as other reviewers have commented - you cannot get all the stuff back in the box once it is opened!) This is a perfect gift for a youngster (or even an "oldster") who is interested in electronics, automation or robotics (though for the latter, you would need an 8-channel relay board and some small motors in addition to this).

Works great for my college project, I am using this UNO R3 microcontroller to make a digital clock using Arduino to code the system, this works great and includes a breadboard, all the wires, extenders, and resistors that you need. it was instantly recognized when connected to my laptop on Arduino IDE, 10/10, would recommend.
