Initially the speaker would not work with my desktop using the recommend ports at the back of the system. I attempted using 2.0, 3.0, and 3.1 USB ports. Blue light would come on, but playing sound would result in speaker shutting down. I suspected a driver issue, but nothing would work. I notified the seller, FactoryOutletDeals, and they immediately offered to send a replacement without requiring a return. Within 3 days I had a working unit without the hassle of re-boxing and returning the other device. I am very pleased with the volume range of such a basic speaker bar. While sound can get muddled in the higher volume range or during bass-heavy audio, the mid to low volume quality is just what I needed for those times when I need to charge headphones or show a video to family members. The compact size easily fits under my Gigabyte monitor, sitting on the monitor stand. Overall, I'm happy with the device and the seller.

For the price, it's a surprisingly decent, little speaker. I bought this to compliment my desktop and just needed something a little better than the monitor speakers. I already have a nice home sound system for watching movies and listening to music, and this thing would never replace that, but I am pleasantly surprised at how well it does.I haven't seen any reviews talk about the response frequencies, so I'll contribute to that.The response range is advertised as 25hz to 20khz. With a simple phone frequency monitor I can tell that it will indeed creates frequencies at 20khz, but it doesn't put them out with much volume until you down to about 16khz. But unless you just want to annoy and confuse your dogs, then that range isn't useful anyways. I was very surprised to hear that it actually does go down to 25hz, but it barely sounds like much, so don't expect this to shake your house or anything. The bass in your music will be audible, but it just sounds like a little thud.Decent speaker for the price, but certainty can't compete with a real, full sized speaker.Edit: After half a year or so with daily use, this speaker is still going strong. I see some other people saying the buttons or LED light fail after some time. My LED is always on, and I click the off/on button at least several times each day and haven't had any issue. Maybe I just got lucky, but so far I still really love this little speaker. Tested the response range again and it was still pretty similar.

Now, to be honest, I thought when I ordered this product it had volume controls on the device itself. It did not, but that's my bad, so I won't hold it against the device. That said, I would order something different based on that alone if I needed another.The Good:As a cheep speaker being used for audio monitoring for streaming, it works well enough. It has OK range, good enough sound, and is able to be clear and solid sound at low levels. It can get loud if I need to, and it doesn't distort too badly, and overall the quality of the sound is solid for the price point. Easy USB setup works on USB 2.0 so you can save your 3.0+ ports for something more important, and its stable and solid construction means it will hold up if I used it on the go with a laptop.The Bad:No volume or power buttons on the device itself means you have drive the volume and power from software or just unplugging it. This is expected in the product as described, so I'm not taking points off for this.While the sound is not bad for it's price point, it does have an "in a box" quality to it that gets worse the louder you get, and it's dynamic range is clearly limited. It at least did not distort much at higher volumes.Personal: The Blue LED not only looks kinda cheap, but it's annoying that you can't switch it off, meaning that if you can't have the light somewhere, this may not be the product for you.Overall:I personally would spend more on a better bar or speakers for regular audio use, but as a cheap portable speaker and 2ndary output monitor? This works just fine. I wish it didn't have the RGB, or had a way to turn it off, but for the price I payed, that's a compromise I made, and I felt I've gotten my moneys worth out of this.

I needed a temporary set of computer speakers and did not want to spend a lot of money. I chose this speaker because of its compact size (it sits nicely under my monitor), single connection (USB) and Price (Cheap!). I must say I am pleasantly surprised at the sound! Very good for the price point. The instructions are not very clear, and could be better, but I figured it out. There is no volume control - you have to adjust the volume from your computer. I am very happy with this speaker, and will probably find other uses after I am through with my temporary set up.

Sounded ok, but only connected via bluetooth, not via the usb wire. Also seemed to drop the sound occasionally. Not sure if these are features or a bugs, or some issue(s) with my PC. Sounded good for a $10 soundbar otherwise.

I rarely have a bad opinion about something, but this time it deserves it, it worked for a week, suddenly it stopped being heard, as it was via Bluetooth I connected it via cables and nothing worked, neither via Bluetooth nor via cables. In the end I threw it in the trash.

I bought this because my laptop speakers stopped working and I am not ready to buy another laptop! It is small which is what I wanted and it does have a light on it! Super easy to use and it sounds great weather it’s work stuff or just playing music. It looks great on my desk to!

This little speaker is perfect. The voice that tells you it's on and in blue tooth mode, cracks me up. It's nice though and I believe you can dim the blue light. I have a light weigh shelf that rests on top of my monitor and this speaker sits on top of it perfectly.

Just plug it in and go.

Muy buen producto de buena calidad, excelente sonido para el uso que le doy como lo son juntas en Zoom o Teams, precio Justo, si necesitara otra bocina no dudaría en volver a comprarla. Solo 2 detalles los cuales no bajará la calificación que le di, 1. Sería ideal que el volumen también se pueda controlar por medio de la bocina, este solo se controla por medio de la computadora, 2. La luz led de la bocina no se puede apagar aún cuando la PC está apagada, sería excelente opción el tener la forma de apagar la luz aún cuando la bocina no esté en uso.

Super Easy to connect with computer, or laptop, great gadget for increasing speaker volume, however, interupts microphone when connected. Disables sound, unable to speak with others or create videos while connected. Seller was great to work with from beginning; understanding and eager to work with in shipping, and resolving concerns for a great customer experience.

This type of active speaker is harder and harder to find: it has its own sound card and uses only one USB connection for power and sound. It's always on, and works perfectly for my setup.The sound is good enough enough for video conferencing and to watch an occasional movie, but not to listen to a full concert, don't expect high-fidelity sound.Gripe: I wish there was a way to turn off the light.EDIT: removed one star because I have to unplug and re-plug the USB connector every time I reboot my computer as the speaker is not recognized.

Excelente sonido potente sin distorsionar el sonido diseño simple pero elegante me hubiera gustado que los materiales de construcción fueran mejor.
