As good as ever
I've bought this for my 8 year old nephew for christmas as I don't think he's ever seen one before and he's about the right age to be amazed by a lot of the records and photos inside. Love the cover! Metallic 3D effect front and back - looks great. It's a good size - a big book in little hands and 255 pages (the last page is just an advert). It's as interesting as I remember it and that is 'even' taking the internet into consideration! Inside we are met with punchy facts/records - great photographs and visuals like infographics/graphs/tables.The GB of R has moved with the times here and we see subjects such as body modification - 3D printing and pollution and environment. Here's a quick look at the contents . . . Earth Tallest Animals Fastest Superhumans Longest Superheroes Heaviest Recordmania Youngest Adventures Highest Society Highest Earning Arts and Media Oldest Sci-Tech and Engineering Most Expensive Transport Smallest Sports Each topic has several sub sections and is jam packed with interesting facts - figures - graphs and photos. I've loved having a quick mooch through this book before santa wraps it! Very pleasantly surprised.

A Great book. A priority yearly buy for boys especially.
My son loves this books. It's the best way to stimulate boys to read factual books, as it has fun, interesting topics that are illustrated so they are not all just pure text, which puts boys off reading. This is an annual priority on my sons Christmas present list. A lovely read for boys especially and an ideal way to stimulate boys to read independently. He fully recommends it for all children.

Excellent book and good value
Excellent book and good value. Keeps my grandson happy for hours. Updated each year so always some new information for us to hear!!! All in all a good buy.

Guiness Book of World Records - everyone should have one!
In a world of instant access to information via Google etc..... it is very nice to have a book like this, old style paper and pictures. So much information at your fingertips! There’s something nice about turning the pages and seeing the achievements listed in this book. Well worth the money!
