I own several Kizer's, so the quality was expected and I wasn't disappointed. Fit and finish is a 10 out of 10. The 154CM blade is scary sharp. Three ways to deploy the blade. Thumb stud; flipper and button lock, offers great flipper action. The linen micarta is beautiful. The steel liner was milled out for weight reduction. Deep carry clip with flush screws, won't hang up on your pocket. Also the clip doesn't give you any hot spots when gripping. Another thing I like about Kizer knives, they don't sacrifice the pocket clip for the lanyard hole. I love this knife. Can you tell? Great job Kizer!

154cm and smooth but serviceable linen micarta scales. Attractive backwash finished blade with decent sharpness out of the box..kizer really does well on presentation, and details to make sure their knives are well finished. Satisfied with the deployment and action of the button lock,and flipper tab. This is a large knife so make sure you local laws allow this type for edc carry pocket clip is functional, and retains the knife in the pocket as it should.at a steal of a price you can't go wrong with the 154cm budget beast at a fraction of the price that big manufacturers charge for this steel,and these features..definitely a keeper!👍

Let me start by saying this is a big knife. it came in the box that looked like it was open once before, the button was sticking and the blade was not centered. After opening and closing the blade the button lock got smooth and stopped sticking. The detent on this knife is weak and if dropped on the floor the blade will open. Overall the knife is ok if you plan opening boxes or cutting cardboard. I would not trust button lock on a large knife to do heavy tasks. I prefer cold steel triad lock for a large knife. Essentially I decided to return this knife. it was just not for me. I own kizer begleiter 2 button lock flipper knife and love it.

Beautiful linen micarta handles, lock up tight, very fidgety. You can open this knife sooo many ways...it's fun to play with. It's a big girl but not so big as you can't easily EDC it, and the pocket clip is very nice. Kizer really knows how to do a great button lock. Jimping on the top of the blade is perfect, wicked sharp out of the box. One of my favorite knives.

This knife is straight up awesome. If you have bigger paws than the average bear and need something a little more substantial to hold on to, here she is! Fantastic smooth action, the lock button is effin genius / a must have and the flipper open is lightening fast. The micas handle is tough and has great gripping texture without being too aggressive.Be a man… and buy yourself a good blade.

The Kizer Begleiter XL is one of the best button-lock folding knives for the money. The fit and finish is bang on... the blade pivots effortlessly, has no play when opened, and is perfectly centered in the handle when closed. The 4" blade has a small choil which allows for easy sharpening along the entire cutting edge. If you are considering a larger folder for EDC, this might be the knife you are looking for. Highly recommended... get one today!
