Keter Corfu Balcony Set

These chairs really do look great - and are comfortable too. Will make any patio or balcony look pretty slick. One thing to note - they are a bit fiddly to assemble. Hard plastic edges and difficult to get to screw holes can make for the occasional grazed knuckle, and you need to follow the instructions carefully. That said - it all gets put together with one tool with no metal fixings - and feels very solid when done. Nice and light too, so easy to move about.

After reading all reviews on this product, at first I was concerned that I would receive my goods and find that I was chasing parts etc so I looked around for another set. The other set was on a 3 week delivery, so I went back to this one. I was more interested in this one because the table could double as a footstool as one of the reviewers point out - I have a bad back so sold! It came today, which was within 2 days of my order. I was apprehensive when I unpacked it and my heart sunk when I couldn't find the assembly instructions under the watchful eye of my husband. Not to worry a quick telephone call and I downloaded them from their site. What a dream - all the parts were there, even a couple of spares. the chairs went together like a dream. The table was done in 3 minutes flat. the chairs took about 10 minutes and I was sitting in the sun on them. a strategically placed cushion on each added to the comfort. Footstool an absolute must. all I can say is thanks to all the reviewers, it was their reviews which made me decide on this set, oh and plus a long delivery on the other. I know I made the right choice. Plastic yet, but look "absolutely fabulous" and I am over the moon with my purchase. my only one negative remark - they were too hot to sit on today :) LOL it was 27 degrees - I soon sought my remedy of my parasol. Seriously, absolutely fabulous buy. no gaps, clipped together perfectly and we were really impressed. Anyone out there considering them - get it bought you won't regret it - they look perfect in my garden. Caitlin

The main thing to say, is that this item is good quality, looks good when assembled and is comfortable. It comes as a kit in one large box, and is easy to assembly (no extra tools needed) The table "snaps" together and the chairs are bolted together with some nice chunky plastic bolts. All fittings are plastic, so everything can stay outside all year round. The table and chairs are made of a good quality rattan effect plastic. Two problems I faced... 1. As Amazon use HDNL aka Yodel to deliver bulky items, it took 3 weeks and ALOT of chasing to finally get the goods. Type 'Yodel review' or 'HDNL review' into Google and you will be amazed by how bad the reviews are, I've used Yodel twice and both times the goods arrived at depot and were immediately "lost". 2. When the goods did arrive, I begin building them and soon realised x6 of the plastic bolts were missing! But Amazon kindly refunded 10% of the purchase price and Keter sent me the missing bolts with 2 days, excellent!

I purchased this Keter chair/table set almost 3 months ago at the start of summer and it has seen continuous daily use since. Assembly was quick and easy and all parts were present and correctly molded (unlike with Keters famous plastic sheds!). The chairs simply screwed together with the supplied plastic tool. Oh and we had to take the cellophane wrappers off the seat cushions! Took just over an hour from start to finish. Then bingo the set was ready to use, no painting now or in the future and no splinters! In use; well there is one annoying issue (I've seen a few people highlight this) but we'll come to that (and my fix) a little later. The seats themselves are very spacious and the arms are at a comfortable height. With the cushions added the seats can be sat in for a good amount of time without getting a numb bottom! The seat backs have a slight flex which means you can lean back and the seat will adjust (slightly) to your body weight pressure. The table is a good size at around 23" square and is roughly the same width as the chairs seat base, so visually the three items together work very well. Right, now to the annoying issue mentioned above. The chairs have a habit of popping their screw covers off at the back of the seat when you've been sat in them a while, I initially put up with this and simply popped the cover back in after it happened, but you get to a point of wondering when it will happen again once you sit in the chair, it's also embarrassing if you have guests using the seats! However, I have found a simple fix. If you take a look at my picture you will see that I have highlighted 3 areas, 1 in red and 2 in blue, if you apply a bead of silicone sealant to these areas (make sure the sealant you use is suitable for use on this type of plastic resin - some aren't, if unsure ask the retailer or manufacturer) then re-fit the cover I have found that it stops the covers popping out. Obviously, you must wait for the sealant to set but then you can sit back (literally) and feel good knowing that you've fix this annoying problem. Oh, and for those wondering why I have highlighted areas in red and blue, with most of the covers there isn't an issue so I only put a dab of silicone on the tip (highlighted red) just in case, but I've found that there's normally one cover on each chair that will be a pain (in my case it's the cover at the back of the left arm rest) and that's where I apply silicone sealant to all 3 areas. Fingers crossed this fix works for you too as the problem can drive you mad! Good luck.

What great furniture for the money, it is plastic but the look of it you wouldn't really tell, which means its lightweight, hard wearing and very weather resistant. I have a very large open landscaped garden, so high winds and bright sunshine. I wanted to create a little area to sit semi sheltered but knew the furniture had to be up to it. It pretty easy to put together, 3 seats, a footstool and the coffee table and got them all put together within an hour, the only thing that niggles me is that the screw cover caps keep popping off, even without anyone sitting on them; being a little ocd it would be more of a problem had the furniture been out in the open where people could see. This set (2 seats and a coffee table/footstool) it is most definitely a footstool (see my photos, now where my little dog sits). I do plan on purchasing more from this company Keter, to complete an open patio with lounge furniture and an outdoor dining area, I even like the outdoor kitchen items they do so may have to re-do the BBQ area too! I have dressed them up with cushions and the whole set looks super....shame its now raining.

Bought this to replace those horrible white plastic chairs that everyone seems to have owned at one point in their life! This took me maybe around half an hour to put together, once they are all built they are very sturdy. The assembly process is pretty straight forward and no tools are needed as you get everything you need in the box. I was admittedly a bit dubious as they are all plastic but so far so good after a weekend of use. The most important thing is they are quite comfortable, spacious and the table comes in handy as a foot stool. I can also confirm the cushions are rain resistant as within 5 minutes of finishing putting them together it started to rain LOTS!

Nice product knce assembled and plenty of spare bolts. Only disappointing that there were lots of extra plastic bits which had to be cut to aid assembly. Back of chairs also dented due to packing

EXCELLENT PRODUCT. Do not, like some misguided soles buy rattan/faux rattan garden furniture with metal frames, - it will rust away. Buy these excellent items instead. Like the other Keter items I have bought, they are solid, well made, rot and rust free, easily assembled, good looking, weatherproof (can be left out all winter), easily cleaned, comfortable. Assembly took about an hour for myself unaided. Excellent diagrams and spare fixings. Don't buy anything else other than Keter - it is the best. Delivery procedure was excellent with e-mail and telephone advice of delivery timing. Driver called on the morning to advise he was 30 mins away. Online tracking by map also available. Excellent product - Excellent Seller - Excellent delivery service.

El set me llegó incompleto, solo faltaron unas tapitas para que no se vieran los huecos donde se colocan los tornillos y no se puede comunicar a Keter ni vía telefónica ni internet. Está bien el producto pero obvio con esos detalles de comunicación voy a tener que devolverlo.
