Medela Spare Parts Kit

Items arrived in perfect condition..good to have a second set of these for mothers pumping multiple times per day.

Is exactly what is described. Works just as well, was rather annoyed that this part split anyway, expected better longevity from such an expensive breast pump.

This product is either imported from a different country or is counterfitted. It is slightly different from the original Medela parts that came with the pump. The result is now we have six pump sets ( i.e. 3 pairs) and it is virtually impssible to to find the right combination of parts to make things work. When using these parts, the pressure is significantly lower. For the one of the two sets it was just enough to decieve the mum that it was working properly but the milk output was heavily reduced. The other set was pretty much useless. I have contacted Medela UK who said that they do not sell these products in the UK through third suppliers and adviced me to return them and buy directly from them. However, they also said that they do not have them in stock. Really annoyed with both Medela and the seller of these parts. We are considering diching the pump and all the parts we have and renting a pump that does not have all these part compatibility isses.

PostItives and negatives - I LOVE this pump, it works like a dream although it is a bit bulky and heavy, and the spare parts came fast BUT I didn't buy them so I 'always have some clean' as suggested in the advert. I HAD to buy them because the clips that clip on the back of the pump are useless and break very easily. They have 3 points of clipping contact and they snap easily. They are very expensive to replace. The pump itself is very expensive though so you have little choice but to replace the parts or it is almost of no use. If the clips break you then have to hold them shut while pumping to achieve any suction. Excellent overall product (the pumping system as a whole!) but would expect the product itself to be less brittle and prone to breaking, and not as expensive to replace the small but integral parts.
